Not able to boot with nvda_drv=1

Hey all... I successfully installed OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 using the Yosemite zone. My Audio, ethernet is working but my graphics do not seem to work. They work fine with Mavericks 10.9.5.

My configuration is  -

AMD FX 4300 Black edition 4.2 GHz
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P
Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GT-710 2GB

I use this app to update my drivers which worked earlier with Mavericks but When I use it now with Yosemite, and after that enter the boot flag  - nvda_drv=1, it just restarts my computer. But when I boot with nv_disable=1, it lets me boot into the system but the performance is really slow because the graphics are not accelerated. I'm still using the USB installer to boot into the OS. Am I doing something wrong? Please help.
