I can't boot Yosemite Zone from USB !

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I installed Hackintosh on my Desktop PC and everything is fine.

Then I decided to install It even on my Laptop, but I have no luck to boot Yosemite Zone from USB.

On the boot menu, when I choose the USB key, for a second a screen which says : "Boot ok" appears, but then It immediately restarts. I've used the same USB key that I've used to install Yosemite Zone on my Desktop PC.

Why ? Can someone help me ?

My laptop specs :
_Processor : Intel Celeron J1800
_RAM : 8GB
_128GB SSD + 1TB HDD

Thanks in advance !

maybe your laptop is boot in UEFI way.

you can go to BIOS setup, security--> disabled security boot. and then go to Boot, choose boot in both UEFI and Legacy. And then try to install again.

Also, you can use CLOVER as bootloader.

Hello,

It is already UEFI and Legacy. I also tried to disable Secure Boot, but nothing.
I'll may try Clover, thank you !

Ohhh... I am sorry.

I am an AMD user. I have tried to install OS X on my PC for many days...

When I choose boot from USB, the screen is freezing with the logo "Hackintosh zone" forever.

I tried Clover these days, but it's hard.

My English is poor...

Wish you can fix it soon and install OS X on your laptop perfectly.

: )

Try xpcm-free boot flag. See if it fixes the problem.

    • Hello everyone  I have installed High Sierra and updated to 10.13.6 before installing nVidea web drivers. After everything was installed (Kexts and the driver) everything booted fine. Graphics worked perfectly. My onboard USB did not work but I have some generic NEC USB 2.0 card that works fine. After a reboot later in the day, I had a weird kernel panic. It spit out strings no longer than 30 charters and then proceeded to reboot. I have not seen this type of panic . This happened when using the onboard USB 3.0 controller but was fixed by removing the device. But now I'm not sure what caused this. I have reinstalled about 15 times already. Here are my specs: ASUS B150 Plus D3 Intel Pentium G4400 ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 2GB WD Blue 500GB HDD 8GB Ram Some generic wireless card (That works) Thanks -T
