Will my build work normally with os x?

Recommended Posts

I have a prebuilt computer. Here are my specs:

  • Ethernet (no wifi)
  • Microsoft comfort 5000 wireless keyboard/mouse
  • BIOS: Asrock (has UEFI) ver: 04.06.05
  • Processor: AMD FX™ 8350 eight-core (overclocked in uefi to 4.2 ghz, originally 4.0 ghz)
  • 8 GB ram
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760

I tried installing it on vmware workstation, with typing "/amd" when first booting, and it worked fine apart from the fact that Audio, or will it lock up, destroy all of my data and delete the MBR like it did on my other, very old computer?

Also, some more info:

I tried installing niresh mavericks on my current computer about a year ago, and it worked fine, but the Audio was a bit bad.

Other than that, no kernel panics and it worked fine!
