Only boot with: -x -v PCIRootUID=1

Recommended Posts

Hello there smile_osx.png I've dealing with this problem for about a week, searching in the forum, I've managed to install Yosemite but I'm not able to boot Yosesemite successfully.

My hackintosh will only boot if I use the following flags:

-x -v PCIRootUID=1

Without them it gets stuck in the boot process, getting for example a "family specific matching fails" error.

I haven't used MulitBeast yet as I'm not sure on which options I should choose.

I'm a n00b at this, all kind of information about this is very welcomed.

My PC specs:
Motherboard: Asrock H81M-A
Processor: Intel Core i7 4790K
RAM: 8Gb Kingston DDR3 1600 Hyperx Fury
Case: Sentey SS1-2420
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA200 (although I haven't plugged it in yet)

Thanks in advanced!

PD: Sorry for my crappy English, I'm not a native speaker.

NOTE: Virtualization is DISABLED in my BIOS setup.

Hello. I solved this problem by:

- Booting the installation pendrive with: -v -x maxmem=4096 cpus=1 PCIRootUID=1 npci=0x2000
- Booting the installed system with: -v -x PCIRootUID=1
- Erasing VoodooHDA (located under /System/Libraries/Extension and on the System Preferences menu).
- Using a DVI display.
