Dell inspiron 1545 yosemite zone installation

Hello guys please help with yosemite zone installation in dell 1545 i have tried all possible boot flags but no success.............i actually saw a post where dell 1545 usr was able  to install but he never explained how so kindly please help

What i found in Dell Inspiron 1545 Manual is:

  • Reboot system back into Yosemite installer (USB)FLASH DRIVE).
  • Run Disk Utility find the Disk Identifier (eg. disk0s2).
  • Unmount the drive you installed Yosemite on
  • Launch Terminal and execute the following command:
  • dd if=/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2
  • Exit Terminal
  • Boot Normally
  • Like 1
