Bootable USB not detected in BIOS (well explained)

Recommended Posts

First of all I'm new in hackitoshing and not a pro about computers and I'm french so excuse me for my english.. :)

I don't realy understand if UEFI is a BIOS type (lol??) but I have UEFI

So.. I'm trying to install Niresh using this tutorial: http://www.macbreaker.com/2014/11/how-to-install-os-x-yosemite-on-your-pc-with-yosemite-zone.html(by the way I wasn't able to find Yosemite Zone in download section so I downloaded Niresh is it good ?)

I burned the dmg (and tried the iso too) using transmac and PowerIso, but my Bios don't detect the usb key.

I had the same problem installing windows, I had to use rufus and the option "GPT for UEFI" to be able to see my usb key.

I really think I well configured my Bios (disabled VT-D, secure boot.. etc using the tutorial)

My computer is an Asus Transformer Book Flip TP300LA DW099H and my motherboard is an Amercan Megatrends and it's also written Aptio Setup Utility on top

I hope someone will be able to help me, thanks in advance and have a good day
