Ethernet Not Working ASROCK Z77 Extreme 4

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, I'm new here so I am sorry if I have posted this in the incorrect section.

I've just managed to install OS X Yosemite Zone 10.10.1

Everything seems to work other than Ethernet and Sound.

Sound isn't really an issue for me. However I would really like to get Ethernet to work correctly.

I have an AS Rock Z77 Extreme 4 Motherboard. I have installed the Kext linked here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/network/112574-10-9-broadcom-bcm57781-asrock-z77-extreme-4-a.html

My Ethernet Card is detected in the system report in OS X, however it is showing as a PCI device, which I think is incorrect since it's on-board LAN.

I am able to create an ethernet connection type in network settings, however I only get a self-assigned IP address.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
