Clean boot

Recommended Posts

Hello Guys

I can not hide some partitions boot Maverick, looked partitions with diskutil, insert as described, but does not work.

What I realized is taht when booting the hard drives and partitions are not found as the OS already in operation, complicating the operation os riding partitions at boot.

If anyone has the same problem ad can help i appreciate it.

i cant understand what you mean?

do you mean you cant see the hard drives when you are trying to install osx ?

or you mean you cant see the extra hard drives when you are on the os x desktop?

Not sure if he meant this, but what I experience is that I cannot hide the partitions in the chameleon boot screen, i did it according to this article: http://www.macbreaker.com/2012/01/how-to-hide-hard-disks-on-chimera.html

But those partitions are still listed in chameleon during boot.

Ok, I figured out what the problem was, in my case I don't need to put partition name into double quotes:

<key>Hide Partition</key>

<string>WINDOWS</string>
