In my experience with boot0 you haven't got any boot loader installed on your mavericks. Boot up your USB stick and when you see the menu it comes with, select Mavericks HDD instead of the installer image. Use any boot flags needed to successful boot.

When in OS X. Download and install this: https://www.hackintoshzone.com/files/file/968-chameleon-for-macos-sierra-chameleon-hackintosh-sierra/

if a bootloader is installed and boot0 error shows, you have to do this.

boot again with your niresh usb just like you are about to do a fresh install

open disk utility

select your HDD and click info , just to know the name. usually disk01 or something like that

now unmount the disk

close disk utility

open termina and type this.

dd if=/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk01 (the name of your disk)

enter and reboot
