Boot loader is installed on USB stick and not on the laptop HDD

Recommended Posts

I have an ASUS laptop with the following configurations

Board: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. K56CA 1.0
Bus Clock: 100 megahertz
UEFI: American Megatrends Inc. K56CA.208 11/13/2012

8 gigs of RAM

The system is currently running Windows 8.1

I have been able to successfully install Mac OS X Yosemite 10_10 hackintosh and everything works (barring internet, but not a big issue as I have put a USB stick for internet and it works).

But the big problem is that the boot loader (Chimera or Chameloen) has been loaded into the USB stick and I don't find any way of either transferring this boot loader to the HDD or install the boot loader into HDD.

This effectively means that the only way I can boot to Apple or windows is by having the USB stick otherwise my laptop is dead.

Any help on this is highly appreciated.
