Use ISO instead of DMG to make bootable flash drive Yosemite

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone

Just a quick question about whether I can use the ISO file to make a bootable flash drive instead of the recommended DMG version of Yosemite Zone.

I run off satellite internet and only have 50GB/m so i'd rather not download the image again if I can use the ISO version I already have. I have the ISO version because I was trying to get it to work in a VM using VMware and Virtualbox, but the performance wasn't as good as I was hoping for so I will try creating a physical Hackintosh using a spare hard drive on my main rig (4770k, Asus Z87-K, GTX 780Ti).

Thanks!
