Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

i took the new Yosemite Distribution 10.10.1 from Niresh and installed it sucessfully. But when i try to boot, it always end in a grey screen with the rainbow circle which continues spinning. When i boot in save mode ( -x ) i could go threw the installation.

I tried many comments for boot:

npci0x2000

UseKernelCache=No

GraphicsEnabler=No

kext-dev-mode= 1

but i have no sucess with none of this. Please Guys, any ideas?

My Hardware is the following:

AMD FX-8350

ASRock 970 Extreme4

AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series

Same shit happens to me.

Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3

FX-8150

Sapphire 7770 VaporX

/amd1 -x -v npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=no  > for install

-x -v > for booting (Boots fine, with my GPU but in safemode)

No bootflag > Gray Screen with the Rainbow Loader Wheel.

Boot with -s and type this commands

mount -uw /

cd /System/Library/Extensions

mkdir intel_back

mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelF* intel_back/

touch ../Extensions

after that reboot your system and use -v flag.

I managed to solve screen problem by installing the WHITE SCREEN FIX kext files. I used it before for to solve the same problem on my mavericks

But unfortunately after i can boot without any flags, my wireless keyboard & mouse seem not to work.
