Is there any solutions to set a GTX 680 (4gb VRAM) on VirtualBox/Hackintosh ?

Recommended Posts

Hey !

a week ago, I installed a Hackintosh on Virtual Box (It was very difficult, my PC didn't want him).

But, after a lot of try and try and try, it's was a success.

Now, I have a last problem who a lot of people seems to have the same : Graphic Card, and VRAM.

So, I think you know the problem, 3Mb VRAM in small resolution, 5/7 Mb in 1080p..

I know it's because my graphic card isn't detect/use.

I tried many solutions all around the web, from russian to english site, lot's of kexts, drivers, args boot, multibeast... and if i'm here today, it's because, this isn't successful.

This is my config :

AMD FX-9370 4.4Ghz
16Go DDR3 G.Skill

And this is my boot file :

  1. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
  2. <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
  3. <plist version="1.0">
  4. <dict>
  5.         <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
  6.         <string>Yes</string>
  7.         <key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
  8.         <string>No</string>
  9.         <key>IGPEnabler</key>
  10.         <string>Yes</string>
  11.         <key>Kernel Flags</key>
  12.         <string>kext-dev-mode=1</string>
  13.         <key>Legacy Logo</key>
  14.         <string>Yes</string>
  15.         <key>Timeout</key>
  16.         <string>2</string>
  17.         <key>GenerateCStates</key>
  18.         <string>Yes</string>
  19.         <key>GeneratePStates</key>
  20.         <string>Yes</string>
  21.         <key>UseKernelCache</key>
  22.         <string>Yes</string>
  23. </dict>
  24. </plist>
Thanks for future help :) !
