Installation Failure

Recommended Posts

I am trying to install it on my amd athlon x3 445 but every time while it is reading the files, my pc suddenly restarts. It does not mention any error as identified in the guide.

Any idea what is causing this?

I have tried almost all combinations.

Please provide screenshots as well as full specs so that the experts could answer your query. Thanks!

Also did you try using boot flags? If yes then specify them...

CPU : AMD Athlon II x3 445 processor 3.1 GHz

Ram : 4 GB

Integrated graphic card : geforce 7025 / nforce 630a

Motherboard :  MSi gf615m p33

I managed to successfully boot to the installer with : /amd64 npci=0x2000 -v

but then the installation hangs when it reached 'the 2 min' left mark

for start only /amd64 npci=0x2000 enter
then format my HDD Complete

Setup my flags for the install to click PCIRootUID=1 and npci=0x2000 disable ethernet and sound for install because for me doesn´t work
and you need maybe some other flags  but try with these and format hdd before you install again

if next time the log shows some error, use your phone and take a picture

ah oky ^^

but on this screen if it is the same like yours, there is no reason why it fails

Maybe try the ISO installer since DMG is only for HDD install whilst ISO is for VM only.

    • Has anyone managed to run the atheros 9485 run on Mojave? I even managed to make him recognize, but he can not find any network.
    • Hello everyone  I have installed High Sierra and updated to 10.13.6 before installing nVidea web drivers. After everything was installed (Kexts and the driver) everything booted fine. Graphics worked perfectly. My onboard USB did not work but I have some generic NEC USB 2.0 card that works fine. After a reboot later in the day, I had a weird kernel panic. It spit out strings no longer than 30 charters and then proceeded to reboot. I have not seen this type of panic . This happened when using the onboard USB 3.0 controller but was fixed by removing the device. But now I'm not sure what caused this. I have reinstalled about 15 times already. Here are my specs: ASUS B150 Plus D3 Intel Pentium G4400 ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050 2GB WD Blue 500GB HDD 8GB Ram Some generic wireless card (That works) Thanks -T
