Intel i5 M430 Graphics

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone and thank you for your collective work into making this a possibility!  My current system is a Dell Studio 1769 and like the topic says it has an i5 M430 processor.  Now through my research I've found that OS X doesn't natively support first generation Intel graphics and that I need to go to the System/Library/Extensions folder and delete

  • AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext and
  • AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext

When I try to go to the location however I don't have an Extensions folder.  Is there something I'm doing wrong like not properly showing all hidden folders or is it just built that way?

Thank you all in advance for any information you can give me!

SOLVED:  I added the -v boot flag and everything is working great except for the obvious issues which the only one I seem to be affected by is the wifi.
