Mouse and Keyboard non-responsive after 10.9.4 update

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks,

I have an old HP7700 Core Duo Processor with 965 chipset and 4GB of ram
The install was very smooth but after 10.9.4 update I cannot use mouse and keyboard. Mouse is frozen and keyboard is non-responsive.

USB seems to be OK because the original install USB mounts fine.

KB and mouse worked before so they are fine as well. I see the light under the mouse meaning that it is alive.

It should be mouse/kb driver compatibility.

Any ideas?

Thx

Igor

I have the same issue on an HP5800 SFF mouse and keyboard work when I boot with -x but not when I boot normally.  Have you found a solution?

Thanks,

Tony
