Trouble to boot from usb drive

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I followed strictly all instruction to install Mojave (and Catalina as weel) on my pc, but my pc doesn't boot from a usb/sd card.

I used the last transMac to format and transfer files on a new usb drive (16gb) as well on a Trascend sd card (16gb). Changed the boot order in the Bios/boot section using usb hdd as first boot drive, in order to boot from external source, but noyhinh happen. No boot sector on drive.

Did i do some mistake during the creation of boot drive? I followed step by step the installation guide.

My pc conficuration is:

Motherboard msi with a Intel 775 Q6600 processor and 4gb ram ddr2 800Mhz

Nvidia GeForce Gt710 graphic card

Is it enough to install Hackintosh?

Thanks in advance
