Wifi freezes notebook

Recommended Posts

I have successfully installed ML 10.8.5 on my Del N411Z notebook and it is working like a charm.

Build in wifi card isn't working for it is Intel and therefore I use a DWA-131 Rev B  Wifi USB adapter.

Driver is Realtek RTL8192CU

Problem is that every time after 30-45 minutes my notebook freezes.

When booting with -v flag i get this error message:

panic (cpu 2 caller 0xffffff800022e436): "thread_invoke: preemption_level 1,possible cause: blocking while holding a spin lock, or within interrupt context "@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-2050.48.12/osfmk/kern/sched_prim.c:2076

It is not always CPU 2. This varys

I have a I5 with 4 cores.

In my BIOS there are no options to play with

Does anyone nows a solution for this problem?

Thanks for support.

The problem is solved.

I deleted the ethernet adapter entrance in the ethernet configuration.

Now the wifi adapter is the only device in my network and everything works perfectly.

Thanks for the support
