Kernal Panic during Installation - Can't Perform Kext Scan Problem

Recommended Posts

I was thinking to install yosmite on my intel based PC but figured out it would require maverics first anyway (correct me if i'm wrong)

some time ago was trying to do so using your version of Maverics and had the following errors. (screenshot attached)

I'm using an
Intel Core 2 Duo
DG41RQ intel board
4GB (2 x 2GB) memory
Readon HD 4xxx series card.

also i didnt find any AHCI option in bios so i set the following

ATA/IDE mode -> Legacy
Legacy -> SATA Only
MaxCPUID -> Enable (tried disable also, didnt work either)
and UEFI Boot -> Enable

& i tried setting GraphicsEnabler=Yes, PCIRootUID=1, PCIRootUID=0, x, -s, v in all permutations but none helped and i got the same message

Please Help.
(consider me a newbie in this with computer science background)

I have the same problem but I only have 2 GB of ram so if I take out a 2 GB module I won't have anything left. I can post pictures and specs if needed.
