Mavericks 10.9.2 success....?????

Recommended Posts

Well i should rather say 90% Success installing 10.9 Mavericks.

I also updated to 10.9.2 and the installation was ok!
The problem is that the system boots,.... but freezes if i don't boot with -x  and type this command "PCIRootUID=0"
Actually it goes to "Stand by" Mode, while on screen appears a message indicating that the Monitor enters to "Stand By Mode"
As i said this problem can be resolved only when i give the command "PCIRootUID=0"
I have to do this every time i want to boot from Mavericks
Is there any way to install it somehow so that i can access directly the Desktop without giving any commands?
I tried with Multibeast to no avail.
Something else that is weird is that the system may  "freeze" without reason suddenly. It happened once while i was using Maps.

PLease help if you can...i have spent many hours in front of The Monitors testing many different combinations, but i don't know how to do this.

Thank you in advance !!!

@Panos_video use the app

to add PCIRootUID=0 to org.chameleon.Boot.plist
you have to find your working kexts for your graphics chipset / card so you can get rid of -x problem

Thank you very much.!!!

I found the Extra folder and in the file org.chameleon.Boot.plist i replaced the number to PCIRootUID=0, instead of 1 that previously was, and now i can go to the Desktop without using -x .

Thank you very much again.!!!
