Having trouble installing Catalina

Recommended Posts

Hi. I recently bought and Chuwi Aerobook and tried to install catalina on it. When I select the Usb Drive on the bootloader, it runs but then reboots and goes back to bootloader. I cant even see whats going on because the text runs too quick. Any help? My specs are:

CPU: Intel Core m3-6Y30 dual-core 900MHz (2.2GHz Turbo)

Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 515

RAM: 8GB

Screen: 13.3-inch 1,920 x 1,080 resolution

Storage: 128GB eMMC

Ports: 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB Type-C, audio jack, microSD card slot, mini-HDMI

Connectivity: 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2

Thanks!

Tried that, still no the same. No idea what's going on. I actually managed to do my pc yesterday, but can't figure out what's happening here. If it wouldn't just reboot, but rather give me a nice little kernel panic... or something... so weird.

@yoel1b I'm sorry, I don't really know what you mean by that. There's tons of options...

I meant, when you boot your computer and choose the installation drive, there is a tab called options. There in the "config" section choose the other configuration.

I tried that, still the same. It just reboots somewhere before getting to the actual Apple install UI.

One more thing - when I use "-x" boot argument, I was able to go through installer, but, unfortunately, it end with error message "An error occoured whie running scripts from the package "OSInstall.postscript.pkg""

I don't know, where to get installer log or figure, what is wrong.

Thank you for help!

you have to go to the terminal and change the date but i think you use mojave
