NVidia Quadro, Sapphire Radeon HD 5450, Intel HD 2000 does not work

Recommended Posts

Dear friends,

I have recently installed High Sierra on my machine.

Been desperately trying to enable the dedicated graphics unit on it. No luck at all.

There are several graphics cards I have:

  • NVidia Quadro 2000 1024MB (preferred one)
  • Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 1GB DDR3 1024MB
  • Intel HD Graphics 2000 (integrated)

With NVidia Quadro what I achieved that far is correct resolution and crazy flickering with black desktop background.

Basically impossible to work or navigate in OS at all. I followed all possible guides around but it still doesn't work.

Also followed this post. Was no luck as well.

All other cards are 'recognized' in 'About this Mac' but the amount of memory is 5MB which is not true. And resolution didn't change.

Please, any help is appreciated.
