Nvidia drivers | Display 3 MB | GTX 1060 3GB

Recommended Posts

Hi, so recently I installed Niresh High Sierra and everything is working beside the graphics card.

My pc specs:

i3 8100

16 GB RAM DDR4 2400 MHZ

GTX 1060 3GB

Things I did try:

I installed Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext into my Library/Extensions folder

I did configure my config.plist with the help of this guide: https://www.hackintosh.computer/929/nvidia-web-driver/

I used nVidia auto web driver installer (the driver actually successfully installed but when I restart my computer it turns back from Nvidia Web Driver to OS X Default Graphics Driver)

Please help me!!

@kaz1m While Installing Niresh High Sierra there is an option to back up graphics kexts, you should unselect it. Also make sure you have EmuVariableUEFI-64.efi driver in EFI Partition.

in case if you have forgot to unselect backup graphics kexts, open terminal & execute the following command

	sudo grafix replace all

@Niresh hey, im back with an update. I installed EmuVariableUEFI-64.efi in my EFI Partition. Some things changed: My resolution in the clover bootloader changed to 1920x1080 (my native monitor resolution) but after i selected my ssd to boot, it showed the verbose mode lines and, after that a blank screen. Can you help me?

@kaz1m Do you have Lilu.kext & Whatevergreen.kext installed?

Switch SMBIOS to iMac14,1

Did you execute the command which i have previously instructed?
