cannot "burn" yose to USB

hi folks,

 

i tried it in windows and a previous hackintosh version.

hackintosh cancels the installation of the Yosemite-Zone Image.

Transmac sais it can't write to Mac Volume. further transmac won't even format the USB drive again... kind of stuck is what i am

y sure. i dont know what's wrong. i tried using transmac. but it abrots the action of moving the image to the stick. it cancels at once i start the process

@Niresh transmac simply states 'error writing to mac volume'

@Audiojunk Thats more than enough it could be an issue with Transmac uninstall and reinstall Transmac

@Audiojunk You are the only one facing this problem, sofar no one has ever posted an issue regarding this, please try with a new pen drive.

@Niresh y just did that i got the OS installed without problems. but do face issues on first boot. 

 

halfway loaded it freezes. i ran verbose mode.

states the following

this line over and over

BUG in process suhelperd[162]: over-released legacy external boost assertions (1 total, 1 external, 0 legacy-external) 

followed by

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start -waitForService(resouceMtching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment) timed out

hfs:mounted Yosemite Zone on device disk1s2

hfs:unmount initiated on Yosemite Zone on device disk1s2

**** [IOBluetoothHCIController][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller  Transport

i got no bluetooth device btw :) ideas?^^

I used the freeware commandline program dmg2img

then win32diskimager to get it onto a 9 gig usb hardrive

They say you can do it in osx with the hdiutil command then

disk utility to get it onto usb but I didn't try that yet.

hdiutil convert yo.dmg -Format UDTO - o yo.img

I shorten the name because I hate to type.
