Hello!

so i tried niresh sierra , installer successfully on dell inspiron laptop...

but my graphics are not working...

in about this mac, graphics only show 4 mb vram....

when i tried yosemite zone, i got full graphics ( 1024 mb )

my graphics- intel hd 4000

please help..

@RohanG What is the exact device and vendor ID of your Graphics chipset?

@RohanG 

  • Download LSPCI for Mac.
  • Install it.
  • Restart.
  • open Terminal.
  • run command `sudo lspci -nn`
  • Post output here.

Download this, Install only FakePCIID.kext & FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext.

@Niresh so i’ll fresh install sierra...

i dont have to customise anything in the settings when i run the installer right??

also i dont have to edit config.plist

i just have to run these kexts right??

can i try to boot with amd radeon graphics??

can u tell me what things do i have to install ( kexts etc )

@RohanG Install Whatevergreen.kext it may trigger HD Graphics along with previous kexts.

hey i have the same error too i install in on my dell laptop with intel 520 but screen is flickering when i open safari and some apps . i did the whatgreen.kext but nothing i dont think it loads and then i tried the ig platform but noting , the screen is on but when i open safari or some programs it flashes

Haswell HD4200/HD4400/HD4600: Must inject device-id=0x0412.
config.plist/Devices/FakeID/IntelGFX=0x04128086
 

This can be done via Clover

@Niresh Make sure before doing everything here, your have un-selected Backup Graphics Extensions while Installing Sierra. If you forgot to do it open terminal run command immediately after Installation.

 

sudo grafix replace all
