Cannot Install OS X on XPS 15 | Stuck at boot

Recommended Posts

i downloaded niresh iso for mavericks and used this guide

https://www.hackintoshzone.com/page/apple/articles/guides/guide-creating-a-usb-installer-on-windows-r16

to create a bootable usb because using win32DiskImager was not working.

When i boot from usb to darwin x86 and use -v to boot, it loads a bit and then asks to press any key and reboots.

How to install?

PC Specs;

i3 380M

6GB DDR3

1TB HDD

nvidia gt420M 2Gb

Its after installing or before?

boot0: done is common after installation.

And, as much I have experienced .ISO is not suitable for USB so prefer .DMG for USB.

.ISO iis specially there for DVDs.

Is it a 4th generation i3? Then you may need patched mach_kernel.
