High Sierra will not install. Advice needed

Recommended Posts

I have a MakeBlock Ultimate 2.0 robot kit.  I have built and programmed a balancing robot.  Now, I would like to control it with my Apple iPod.  Of course, the Apple iPod can only be programmed with an Apple computer, but I have a PC.  It is an older computer (2009 – See System Information report below), so I need to make sure that I can transform it into a Hackintosh.  It was the best computer I could get from Sam’s at that time.  The motherboard is not UEFI but does have instructions sets MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3, SSE4.1, EM64T and VT-x (see CPU-Z TXT Report below).

It would be an easy app that would only need to send Forward, Backward, Left and Right.

In order to find a compatible install, I started with Lion.  Then moved on to Mountain Lion, Yosemite, El Capitan, Sierra and finally High Sierra.  I think I tried them all.  Because of possible issues with compression and (.torrent) I was not able to get a disk image.  With High Sierra, I was finally able to get that disk image.  But it will not install.  I still can not get a disk image for any of the other OS’s and in fact cannot reproduce the method to get the disk image for High Sierra.

My computer is an older machine.   I have found reference to four Distros at the website.

High Sierra

I will focus on Mavericks.  I have (by some unknown method) placed the file “Hackintosh Zone High Sierra Installer” on my hard drive. It is a Mac Disk Image File.  I am now trying to place the Mavericks Mac Disk Image File on my hard drive.  I start at the Hackintosh Zone site and “Download Hackintosh Mavericks”.  This leaves me with compressed files that I must expand.  The expanded files are Torrent Files that open with uTorrent (web browser).  But I can not find the downloaded (again) file.

Sierra alta

Download transmission is better.if you can install Yosemite best ,Mavericks does not support with many programs
