Vanilla Mojave Hackintosh with MacPwn

MacPwn Mojave is a tool to create bootable USB Installer of macOS Mojave. You can also manually create Mojave Bootable USB but MacPwn simplifies all the complicated steps.

 

Requirements.

 

Preparing Pen Drive for MacPwn.

USB needs to be erased before porting Mojave into it, the following steps will guide you through it

 

  • Plugin USB or Flash drive to your Mac or Hackintosh.
  • Open "Disk Utility" from Launchpad > Utilities.
  • In Disk Utility click on View Icon, Select "Show All Devices".
  • Select your USB from "External" devices (USB External Physical Disk)
  • Erase your USB  
  • Name: Mojave Installer (Used for illustration purpose)
  • Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
  • Scheme: GUID Partition Map

Create Mojave Bootable USB with MacPwn

 

You need to have "Install macOS Mojave.app" in the Applications folder otherwise MacPwn will fail.

 

  • Open MacPwn Mojave & Click Continue.

  • Agree with License by Clicking Continue. MacPwn Mojave License Agreement.jpg

  • You have to Choose the USB as destination disk by Clicking "Change Installation Location".  Change Install Location Mojave MacPwn.jpg
  • Click over "Install on a specific disk".Click Install on a Specific Disk MacPwn Mojave.jpg
  • Search for your USB Volume & Select if from the list. (Mojave Installer is used for illustration purpose only).Select Volume from the List MacPwn Mojave.jpg
  • Click Continue, Preparation may take up to 30minutes, which depends on the speed of your PC & USB. Finally, Your Mojave USB will be ready with a Success dialog.Mojave Success Dialog MacPwn.jpg

 

 

Installing MacOS Mojave on Hackintosh.

After Successfully Making Bootable USB of Hackintosh Mojave with MacPwn.

  • Restart Computer
  • Press Del (Delete Key) to open BIOS Setting Menu
    1. Load Optimized Defaults
    2. Set OS Type to Other OS
    3. If your system has IO Serial Port/Thunderbolt Port/ Firewire Port, disable it
    4. Set XHCI Handoff to Enabled
    5. If you have a 6 series or x58 system with AWARD BIOS, disable USB 3.0
    6. If your CPU supports VT-d, disable it
    7. If your system has CFG-Lock, disable it
    8. If your system has Secure Boot Mode, disable it & delete PK Keys
    9. Disable CSM / Compatibility Support Module
    10. More Hackintosh Bios Settings
  • After making these BIOS Settings boot from USB
  • In The Clover Menu Select and Boot from Volume "Install macOS Mojave"
  • After reaching installer, Erase a Volume with Disk Utility as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with the name "Mac", Install macOS in It.
  • Boot using the Same USB, in the clover menu select Installed Volume Mac.
  • Download & Install Clover Bootloader.
  • That's all; You are now with Hackintosh Mojave.

I have two questions.

1 do i need to erase my entire hard drive in order to install it? (I have Windows 7 installed).

2 is there an mbr patch for Mojave?

All is fine but  I cannot start my hackintosh, I can do it only with the usb stick,

Hallo, is the installer meant only for PCs or also for laptops? I have HP 8570p with i7 and AMD 7650M gpu. There is High Sierra already installed but I can't make the gpu fully working. I can scratch the HS and try MJ. Thank you for answer. Regards

i've issue,

this copy of the install maOS Mojave application is damaged, and can't be used to install macOS.

time was update and correct. 
any solution for fix?

@GeorgettaCZ This can be used with a PC & Laptop.

@mig67 Install Clover Bootloader.

Yes, you have to erase the Hard disk into GUID Partition Scheme.

Yes there is MBR Patch available for Mojave.

Already got Mojave installed. Now I fight n struggle with graphics. How to make an AMD 7650M use all the 1GB of VRAM? Any universal guide for AMD GPUs?

Successfully installed Mojave on my laptop. No problems whatsoever. Everything is working except wifi (which by the way is intel and not supported).

16GB Ram

dual graphics intel hd6300 and Nvidia 1060 6GB

motherboard clivo ha71hx (intel 175)

Rtc892 laptop audio

You need to enable UEFI Boot from the BIOS.

Please help me.

 

macOS Utilities box appear, so i click to continue. But stack at this screen.

 

Restore from time machine and Disk Utility is working.
