Dell 1390 Wi-Fi card on 10.9.0 -- not working

So I recently managed — and with a surprisingly small amount of pain! — to install Niresh's Mavericks on my Acer Aspire X3400G (specs here; ignore the processor frequency, it's actually 3.1 GHz). However, the Dell 1390 Wi-Fi card that I have plugged in is recognized by Windows but not OS X. What am I doing wrong and what might I do to fix it?

@Halian Please post the model no. of your wifi card.

@Halian It's a wifi card that is natively supported by OSX :) Try to install a vanilla IO80211NetworkingFamily kext

Now it works, but I get a kernel panic when I try to access some websites, including YouTube, the Pirate Bay, Celtx' website, and this forum (I'm on my phone right now). What do? D:
