Recommended Posts

Hello there so I boot up from my Niresh Mavericks USB Stick on my HP NX6325. I booted the AMD64 kernel and i'm getting a kernel panic
i hope this is enough information

Kernel Extensions in backtrace:

org.tgwbd.driver.ElliottForceLegacyRTC(1.0)

dependency: com.apple.iokit.IOACPIFAMILY(1.4)

i hope thats enough. is there a fix for that?

single user mode doesn't work i tried it

specs: ram: 2,5 gb

           processor: AMD Mobile Sempron 3500+

There is power source bug but not for all. And as Deepak advised. Why do you goto option when installing? Just let it go as it is without going here and there.

If yet you want step by step then :-

1. Create Mavericks USB

2. Change BIOS settings

3. Boot using USB and select it on boot screen. (use -x -v flag)

4. Let it come to installation screen and format the drive where you want to install (use utility menu)

5 Now, DONT TOUCH OPTION MENU. Just let it install.

delete kext ElltioForceLegacyRTC.kext

try with single user

-s

mount -uw /
rm -rf /system/library/extensions/ElltioForceLegacyRTC.kext
exit

if you can not get in single user, use the installation dvd(terminal)

Just to be sure, virtual technology in BIOS is off? its VT-d/i (may be something matching).
