@prajval

use these boot arguments to boot into mac: -v cpus=1 GraphicsEnabler=No dart=0 npci=0x2000

then download and run Lapic Kernel Patcher: http://www.hackintos...el-patcher-v07/

patch mach_kernel using lapic kernel patcher and restart mac, now run mac without the above boot arguments and you wont have kernel panic now xsmile.png.pagespeed.ic.5Yux4gu5_h.png

Hmm...what about 10.9.4? Can I safely update on my AMD machine?

Mr00realist

Just finished installing 10.9.0 and updated it to 10.9.4

But since then I can only boot in with -v -x or -v -f

Else getting stuck on "Still waiting for root device".

Any Ideas?

This is the shortest I've ever run a Hackintosh  :D

Needless to say, I won't update it once I get this working.

One more thing, every time I reboot (force reboot rather) my system, it looses it BIOS settings. Not sure if these things are all related but any direction would be greatly appreciated.

My System:

Dell Optiplex 745 DT

Core2Quad Q6700 2.66 Ghz (OSx takes it as a Xeon)

4 GB DDR2 (for now)

Onboard Graphics (for now)
