@ran000 What is your graphics card device ID?

Hello

My graphics card is: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)

Today I try to update my 10.14.3 to 10.14.4 ( official, not a development ) and get same result - infinity loop.

Repeat, that I have successfully updated my 10.14 installation from 10.14 to 10.14.1, then to 10.14.2 and to 10.14.3.   And I could not update to 10.14.4(!). Find here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1B-wtseeGSJNMugxZv7RWsvaRROrXUroR/view?usp=sharing   log file from my working system( 10.14.3 ), may be you will help me based on this. Thank you in advance.

@ran000 That is not your device id. you have to find your device id. You can find it using "System Information" Application, Like in the example below.

  • config.plist > Graphics/ig-platform-id=0x0d220003
  • config.plist > Devices/FakeID/IntelGFX=0
  • BIOS DVMT -prealloc 64mb or maximum available

Graphics/Inject/Intel=false

Graphics/ig-platform-id=0x0

Devices/FakeID/IntelGFX=0x01288086

BIOS DVMT - have not in my BIOS/UEFI

digital connection to your monitor (VGA not supported) - it is my notebook,

@ran000 Download & Install only

FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext & FakePCIID.kext from here

remove any clover customization after installation.

Hello

Thank for you help. I try to so, but have not any success.

Please, my problem looks not with working 10.14.3 , but with new 10.14.4 update.I do not see sense to make any change with working 10.14.3 itself, it may be sense to make changes with CLOVER, on top of which both old 10.14.3 and new 10.14.4 working. I do not using any Time Machine, I simple reboot with different CLOVER options.

What is more interesting for me - how I can locate a problem, which logs it is possible to analyse about updating?

I decided to start from scratch. I prepare new installation USB according a current manual, make new installation  ( 10.14.1 )   and try update it.  I get same problem - when system reboot during updating to new ( 10.14.4 ) I see only infinity loop of error messages.

Something serious changed with 10.14.4

Hello, Niresh.

I apologize to you for misleading you (and myself). Incidentally, I left the cycle with the display of errors for a long time (30-60) and on my return I found that the update was successful. Just this update is different in time from the previous ones and I did not have the patience to wait for completion.

Alexandre.

Hello. I try to install Niresh and Vanila Mojave too but I can’t install because the installer stops at Unsupported CPU, Unsupported CPU, Unsupported PCH message

I had a working Mojave, but after an automatic update it failed to work, always stops at this message

my config:

Intel Core i7 2600K

8 GB RAM

2 SSD (120 GB, 240 GB)

R9 270X

GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3

Hello everyone, I don't get step 2 to work. Since the text says it is an *.app, but actually the file is a *.dmg. How can i transfer the *.dmg to an *.app or can get the file from the *.dmg like it is shown from the *.app in the gif? Thanks.

Ok, I got this myself. First load the *.dmg, then the BaseSystem.dmg. From there, you can go the way mentioned in the gif.
