<solved> Can't write to USB :-(

Strange thing!

To put a file as attachment for this forum I try to put a txt file on my ubs key ... and NO WAY!

 

I can read from (copy from usb to my mac) but I can't wrtie to it!

 

No, my usb key is not readonly ;-)

(in fact she is due to OSX ! ;-) )

 

Any idea?

Can you please Dont be creating Multiples Topics about the issues you are having.

Because is hard to keep up that way with the issues you having.may i suggest

Creating only one topic with all the issues you are having.that way it

You can create multiple topics ,but im just saying dont creat different topics for eatch issue.Just create one

And mention all the issues you are having.

What format is the USB in? Macs are funny about Fat32 and HATE NTFS. If it is the case, use this guide to fix the issue as it worked for me:

I didn't know that!

 

And obviously after formatting my ubs key to extFat it's working perfectly!!

 

Regarding the article and the products, I prefer (unless I need to mount a NFS drive !) to use new standard.
