AppleUSBHostController::setPowerStateGated failure

Recommended Posts

Good evening everybody. I have got some bit of a issue here. I followed this guide to install Niresh Sierra on my PC. Now, everything from booting into Clover to starting the installer went fine. There is only one exception: Everytime when I try to install any version of MacOS the loader literally fucks everything up. Sorry for my language but it is kinda frustrating.

AppleUSBHostController::setPowerStateGated: going to state 2 failed with 0xe00002e9
AppleUSBHostController::setPowerStateGated: going to state 1 returned 0xe00002e9

I have done everything what the guide says. I have configured my (UEFI) BIOS correctly, unplugged every single USB device from my PC except mouse and keyboard etc.

Is somebody willingly to help me? I really would appreciate that.

My specs:

  • CPU: Intel i7 7820X (supports SSE 4.1/4.2)
  • GPU: nVidia GTX 1080
  • Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix x299-E Gaming

If you need any other specs, settings or anything else feel free to ask.
