Will Morris 1 Posted December 9, 2013 Hi all, i used to have a working hackintosh with 10.8.2 before i updated my M/B and CPU i was just wounring if someone could help me out and tell me how i could burn or restor this DMG to USB or DVD in windows thanks in advance. AndroidBoy 8 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) Use tranmac if your using windows sir u can burn the dmg file or plug your 8GB usb in run tranmac as admin and right click usb and restore with disk image and select the niresh dmg If you notice E is my TDK 16GB Usb i have right clicked it and restore with disk image im using 10.8.5 must have legacy mode on from bios for 10.8.2 to boot from usb Edited December 9, 2013 by L3onCoder Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

AndroidBoy 8 Posted December 9, 2013 No my pal you see 10.8.2 has it own bootloader same as booting from dvd but 10.8.5 u need uefi modeand i tell you im trying to get 10.8.5 to work it one hell of a pain in the back side so go with 10.8.2 to avid hassle with clover atm 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I have a Lenovo Y510p (not SLI) and i'm using Clover rEFIt v.2.09 EFI rev 2.31 firmware clover 1174 I see BootMAc 10.8.5 Usb and when i try to install it freezes I had followed all the steps with those 2 USB sticks boot args -v darkwake=0 npci=0x2000 --------------------------------------------------------------------- any ideea about how to advance in my installation ? thank you in advance. Toshiba Satellite L875D-S7332AMD Vision A6-4400 Boot with Kernel Flags amd npci=0x3000 GraphisEnabler=no I'll try later with amd64 to see if it works...
