  3. I am having crashes every so often on my Sierra Zone Hackintosh. I have no idea what is causing it because in the ".crash" logs there are a few different things. One of the main ones is Logic X. I have perfect sound, Internet & graphics running on an older MSI Platinum P35 Motherboard that's LGA775 with a Xeon X5460 that was converted from LGA771 to LGA775 with that mod & an AMD HD6650 1GB DDR5. I have DIGI 002r hooked up via firewire & everything works perfect...for awhile...BUT, it periodically crashes, & not always while running Logic X. Logic X won't even be open, I'll just be watching youtube or something & it will crash for "apparently" no reason. I have attached a few console ".crash" files that happened from a while ago til yesterday from Logic X & another one that happened because (if I'm not mistaken) of VTDecoder & another becuz of Minergate. I'm pretty sure these are what caused the whole computer to crash & not just records of the program/app crashing. If not, please let me know which file records the crash of the ENTIRE computer. Can someone who knows have a look & see if they know what's going on? Please & thankyou. P.S. I can return the favor. 8. Getting stuck at Yosemite Boot Logo! Alright so first off I am trying to install Yosemite Zone 10.10.1 onto my PC (Pentium G4500, Intel HD 530, 8GB DDR4....) and I keep getting stuck at the Hackintosh Zone boot logo. I start my PC, my USB shows up, I click it, and then I select the Yosemite file on the USB using the built-in Chameleon 2.2 and then it loads and then it gets stuck on the Hackintosh Zone logo (I don't even get to the installation). I have tried using -x (Safe Mode) and -v (Verbose Mode) and nothing seems to work. In Verbose mode, nothing shows up so I guess it's not even starting to load the installation? Please help. Also if anyone needs me to make a video showing what is happening I can do it. Thanks

    Zone 10.10 Install Help

Zone 10.10 Install Help Hey everyone, I'm trying to install yosemite zone on my acer aspire e15. It's got a celeron n2930 quad core, and intel HD graphics. When I try to boot from my Yosemite USB, which I used to install on a different laptop (that im using right now!), the screen flashed white for a split second then reboots. This happens every time I attempt to boot from the usb, is there a bios setting im missing, or does anyone know whats going on and how to fix? I cant even see the screen where you enter your bootflags, the pc just restarts. Thank you so much for your help, have a great day!
  10. Hello guyz, after a lot of research and uncountable tries with various kernels and kext files, i had successfully installed OSX 10.10.3 on my AMD FX 8350. I would like to help every AMD FX users on how to install 10.10.3 on their System and enable GFX acceleration on nvidia cards. Prerequisites: Download the 10.10.3 Combo update file from the link below. https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1804?locale=en_US Installation Instructions: Step 1: Install Yosemite Zone 10.10.1 with /amd1 bootflag OR Install 10.10.1 with Unibeast drive using amd kernel Step 2: Download the .rar file from the link below and extract it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2tOEfugYcrnTTVtRDNISjBKV2s/view?usp=sharing Step 3: In the rar file you will get a file as "kern" without quotes. Its the kernel file. Copy/paste the file on the root of you hackintosh drive. Also copy/paste two other kext files named as AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext on the root of your hackintosh or downloads folder of your hackintosh as we will need these two files later. Also Copy/paste the Web driver which i had also given on the rar file. Step 4: Now its time to install the 10.10.3 combo update file which u had downloaded. Step 5: After installing the update file, dont restart your PC. First, you have to copy/paste the pthread.kext file on System/Library/Extensions. or you can use Kext Wizard to install the Kext. You will get the pthread.kext file on the rar file which u had downloaded. On the rar file, you will get a .zip file named as 10102-UPD-Patch-pthread.kext.zip. Extract that zip file and you will get pthread.kext. Step 6: After installing the kext, Fix permissions with Kext wizard and then restart your PC and let the update complete. Step 7: After updating the hackintosh to 10.10.3, its time to boot. So now we need that kernel file which we had pasted on the root directory of the hackintosh drive earlier. So, insert the Yosemite Zone Pendrive as because we need that drive to boot into our hackintosh drive as it has got chameleon installed. Step 8: After inserting the Yosemite Zone Pendrive, boot from the pendrive and select your hackintosh drive from the chameleon boot menu. And now use the following boot flags: /kern -v -x -f Step 9: Patience. It will take some time to boot and after successful boot, it will boot without hardware acceleration. Step 10: Now we need to install the two other kext which we had copied earlier. So fire up Kext Wizard and install those two kext AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext. After installing the kexts, fix permission using kext wizard. Step 11: install the nvidia web driver which you had copied earlier. After installing the driver, remember to use boot flag nvda_drv=1 on org.chameleon.boot.plist and also copy the kernel file "kern" without quotes to System/Library/kernels and run chameleon Wizard and on org.chameleon.boot. option, tick mark kernel option and on the text bar below type in "kern" without quotes. This will make the OSX boot with kern everytime and you dont need to enter /kern bootflag everytime. Step 12: Reboot your PC and on the Chameleon Boot menu, Choose your hackintosh drive and hit ENTER. ENJOY YOSEMITE 10.10.3 on AMD FX. My Specification: CPU: AMDFX 8350 GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760 RAM: 8GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE MOBO: ASUS M5A97 R2.0

  13. Specs: Intel HD Graphics 4600 Nvidia Geforce GTX 960m Intel i5 4210H 2.90GHZ (Haswell) Hey guys. Ive been trying to install hackintosh on my laptop for a while with no sucess. Yesterday i finally got past the problem with early reboot but faced some other problems with the installer. If i load the Yosemite Zone usb with no boot arguements it stop before loading the installer(stuck in verbose mode). I then tried to load with -f -x, and it worked. I got in to the installer, used disk utility to format a partition then went on to the installer. I chose the partition and customized what i wanted installed. After 30 sec- 1min when it begins to install i got the screen in the picture. I got no idea what to do to fix this, also a fresh noob at hackintosh so i cant really analyze the errors. Help is much appriciated!
  14. Hello. I am attempting to install OS X Yosemite 10.10 onto my HP Pavilion A8. I erased the disk into a Mac format and restored the USB with the Yosemite-Zone disk image. Bootflags such as "amd" and "GraphicsEnabler=No" got me to the Apple symbol with the progress bar stopping at about 30%, every-time, even with other boot flags. I have gone into verbose many times and it doesn't help at all. Here are my specifications; listed below: Notebook model: HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC System Board ID: 2269 Processor Type: AMD AB-6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics Processor Speed: 2000 MHz Total Memory: 8GB BIOS Version: F.10 BIOS Vendor: American Megatrends WLAN FCC ID: TX2-RTL8723BE Bluetooth FCC ID: TX2-RTL8723BE That's my system. Are there any bios settings I may have missed (list them all) and boot flags I must enter? Thanks in advance.

    Hackintosh strange Kernel Panic

Hello, I've installed Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 on my Alienware X51. In the beginning i had many problems like Reboot Loop but i solved it with the Haswell Kernel and the npci=0x2000 Flag. Then i installed it. And the next problem was the Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport Error when i booted into OSX Yosemite. I fixed it by removing the Kext from the IntelHD Driver. And the next problem was that it was stuck at the [IOBluetoothHCIController][start] -- completed screen. Then i fixed it but after i configured my Hackintosh a Kernel Panic appeared. See in the attached Photo. And sorry for my Bad English. I'm from Germany. Hope you can Help me!

And if I start a Terminal from the usb yosemite zone installer and enter "diskutil list" there is a partition type EFI but name is empty. What's the difference between Clover Standard and Clover EFI? Hey all, Firstly I would like to thank Niresh for a great Hackintosh build, it's been the easiest to install by far. I've managed to install Yosemite Zone on both my HDD and an external USB stick. I can boot completely fine with the USB, however if I try to boot into my HDD it stops loading at a certain point and my fans start to run very loudly. I have a MSI Ghost Pro Laptop, with a NVDIA GeForce GTX 970M graphics card, Intel Core i7 4720HQ, Motherboard: MSI MS-16H5. Kernel panic also occurs if i try to boot in safe mode (-x), i've attached a picture. Any help whatsoever will be appreciated, been trying to install this for days! Thank you
