  2. After Upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.5 no correct USB Sound Hello, After I have upgraded to 10.10.5, the sound from the USB sound card does not work properly anymore. The Kext AppleUSBAudio can not find the Kext IOAudioFamily at startup, although it is present and is loaded at startup. Under 10.10.1 everything worked without problem. MacOS should support compatible USB sound card plug and play. In some Kext is probably a mistake. I hope you all can help me. Best regards, Hello

  6. Sound issue on HP HDX16, sound stuck at max volume Most sound issues in hackintosh are that some computers won't produce Audio. In my case, the sound is stuck on maximum volume, it doesn't matter if I set the setting lower or mute the computer, sound still comes out at max volume. All drivers and kexts I have tried either allow me to have max volume and nothing else, or no sound at all. is there any kext or driver that will let me control my volume, or any other solution to this error?

    Stuttering sound

Yesterday I've installed Yosemite for the first time and it's working fine. But 1 thing really bothers me about the sound, it's really stuttering. I'm using an Line 6 Pod UX1 sound interface and I've installed the drivers of it. I've read that some people have the same problem with an AMD CPU, which I have. But none of those solved problems didn't work for me, anyone have other idea's on how to fix it? My specs: CPU: AMD FX-8120 Zambezi Eight core processor Motherboard: Asus M5a78L-M/USB3 RAM: 8,00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 GPU: Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX

  9. Hi, I just discovered Hackintosh Zone. I'm a pretty experienced Mac Tech but still getting my head around Hackintosh and in Particular, Clover. I have Asus 5600U with touch screen removed (because it broke) 10.11.2 Installed with TonyMac recommended Install with Mulitbeast latest and a couple of tweaks from Clover configurator. I have it working but have no wifi (Realtek 8192 USB dongle),No bluetooth, no sound, no camera.. I'd really like to team up with someone who could help me with this current config and basically to share knowledge. Location New Zealand. Thank You
  10. Hello. Im new to ''Hackintosh'' community. I really don't know where to search or what to do with this. Im writing this from this installed Yosemite. So I Installed Niresh's Yosemite 10.10.1 and install went very well. After installing and booting into partition where the OS is installed my screen went black around 40% percent of booting screen and went ''No signal''. (Thats when I started googling) I found some commands and i fixed the ''No signal'' issue but the booting screen was taking already like 30 minutes and I went searching other solutions. Then i found this ''GraphicsEnabler=No'' and finally it boots up but everything is so laggy like I have no graphic card at all and currently its showing that I have 3MB Display graphics. The other problem is sound - I can hear some sounds coming from my earbuds when nothing is even playing. My specs: MB: Asrock H61M-DGS [Intel H61 Express], Videocard: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series Ethernet: Realtek RTL8111DL [No problems yet] Audio: HDMI[I guess its not working] and Realtek HD Audio (ALC662) RAM: 8GB @ 1333MHz Processor: Intel Core i5-3330 @ 3.00GHz I uploaded screenshot from ''boot -v'' option.
  11. Hey there, I just made my first hackintosh, I had sound after installation then I used MultiBeast and installed VoodooHDA drivers for sound. After the installation finished, I got a notification that the HDA drivers were not installed correctly and are not working. So I opened Kext Wizard and unloaded the driver so. Now I cant install them back and I dont know how to load them again :/ Edit: For people with the same problem I fixed it with: http://sourceforge.net/projects/voodoohda/

    Several issues with Niresh's Yosemite

I eagerly wanted to convert my computer into a hackintosh but have had quite a few issues First i tried niresh's mountain lion: Failed to load then I tried Mavericks: Loaded but installation fails. Lastly i tried yosemite and with the correct boot flags (/amd1 -v npci=0x3000 cpus=2 (for installation) and (npci=0x3000 cpus=2) for loading) I was able to get it installed. However now i have quite a few issues. 1. Sound works but their is a constant static noise that is as loud or loader then any program 2. No wifi even after using Wifi injector through Mac Poison 3. Several small graphical glitches, it fails to recognize my graphics card and is subsequently not rendering things correctly (transitions arent smooth, bits of apps get cut off, etc) please help system is as follows Cpu: Amd A10-5800k gpu: Amd Raidon R7 200 series memory: 8gbs or DDR3 Memory Mother board: Asus A78m-E Graphics interface Pci Express I use an external wifi adapter (LG PW-DN427) (the cartridge it's self says that its mac compatible)
  13. for some reason, Audio playback in both vlc and itunes is unlistenably choppy. Everything else works great in Yosemite, i dont have the same problem when viewing things online such as youtube or other sites. I have also noticed when my processor is working it playback in itunes and vlc works perfectly. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how did you fix it? I really love this operating system and would like to contiune to use it. I did update the kernel and the kexts to 10.10.3 and i still have that problem, but the same flawless playback occurs when my processor is working hard doing thing such as converting videos. Any help would be great
  14. Hi, I've installed Mavericks Niresh on Virtualbox per the tutorial here: http://www.macbreake...ith-niresh.html The installation went smoothly and the OS came up like a charm. Everything except one thing: I have no sound. I'm using a PreSonus Audiobox USB. According to the manufacturer this is a pre-certified device so there is not driver for it, should be plug and play. I have it set as a shared shared USB Device in VitrualBox settings and the OS seems to be detecting it. However the volume bar is greyed out and, of course, I'm not hearing anything. see pics: http://imgur.com/EGNWcaE http://imgur.com/61YdKMb http://imgur.com/BSwGAxO http://imgur.com/kU912fl I'm not sure this is a problem with the Audiobox per se. I unplugged the Audiobox and put my speakers directly into my onboard soundcard, activated Audio in Virtual box, and booted. Then it didn't detect any sound output devices at all. I've tried installing with and without Audio kexts. I have downloaded, run, and installed "all-in-one Audio-solution/ Still no results. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have seen other reports of the Presonus Audiobox working with this arrangement. SPECS: Intel Core i5-4590 eVGA Geforce 970 GTX Asus Z97-A Motherboard Intel i218-V Gigabit LAN (onbaord LAN) Realtek ALC892 (onboard Audio) Presonus Audiobox USB (External USB Audio, prefer to make this work) Windows 7 sp1 Virtual Box v4.3.22
  15. I just successfully installed Mavericks on an iMac 6,1 using the SFOTT utility. While I'm not having any display or ethernet issues, it appears the sound is no longer working. When I go into System Preferences -> Sound, under output it says there are no output devices found. Can anyone point me in the right direction to remedy this? Thanks!

    ALC 892 problems

Hi, I know that there's several topics about the same issue, but I want to have a personal one so I can get the help I need because I'm a noob with Hackintosh. I've got the Realtek ALC892 sound on my motherboard but I can't get it to work. I've tried Multibeast install, also installing the HDAenabler1.kext and AppleHDA.kext but NOTHING works. It says "no output found" when I press sound, I don't know what to do at all. Here's my boot options: <key>Credits</key> <string>www.hackintoshzone.com</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>y</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>no</string> <string>-x</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>npci=0x2000 dart=0</string> <key>PciRoot</key> <string>1</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>2</string> </dict> </plist> Anyone that can help me? I'd be so grateful, thanks in advance.

    ALC892 Audio Not Working

I finally installed Yosemite 10.10.1 and I'm not getting any sound. I have tried installing the ALC892 kext through multibeast (newest version as well as multibeast v6.1 as a few people said that worked for them) as well as Voodoo v2.8.4 and I get no sound. i get some message that says: "The system extension “/System/Library/Extensions/VoodooHDA.kext” was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product’s vendor for an update." Anyone else having this issue? My build: CPU: AMD FX-8320, 3.5ghz Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB MoBo: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+ Audio: Realtek ALC892
  18. Hello everyone and thanks to Niresh for his great job! I Successfully installed Yosemite 10.10.1 and after restart I got my Lan and voice Completely Working. But My Speakers Right Channel is Broken and I Switch to Left By windows Sound balance setting to hear sounds without Noise. When I Put My output device in Yosemite to Analog (the last one) and change the balance setting to left nothing happens and I can still hear the noises. Generally When I Change Setting in Yosemite's Own Sound setting nothing happens but when I use Voodoo Setting , Changes take effect. But here is my question: Despite Yosemite Balance Settings Is not working for me , How can I Change Sound Balance With Voodoo and Put Balance into left? I Checked Voodoo for the option but such this option DOESN'T Exist! If i can Use Patched Version of AppleHDA which one should i use? If you wanted to answer Please help me completely! Excuse me for my poor english

    AMD problems...

I've installed Niresh 10.9 updated to 10.9.2 onto a Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H (rev. 1.3) BIOS F12f w/Phenom II X4 965 CPU 8GB RAM and a Radeon HD5770 1GB card with onboard graphics disabled in BIOS. It works, sort of... In browsers I noticed bad static in the sound output. I thought this was a VoodooHDA issue, and installed the latest 2.8.5 version, and tried MANY fixes, but nothing worked. Then I noticed that a song streamed on iTunes Internet Radio was clear, without static. I also noticed that within the browser, if a video was playing with sound that was static, it also was playing slower than normal speed. Bizarrely, if the mouse cursor was moved, the video would speed up to normal, and the static would disappear. This made me think it was a Flash issue, but I uninstalled Flash from Safari & Firefox, and disabled the pepper-Flash plugin in Chrome, and videos that were HTML5 also displayed the same static & slow play in all three browsers, but would speed up and sound normal when the cursor was continuously in motion. Normal MP3 sound fine in iTunes, and some videos in websites play normal, for example 24hoursofhappy.com plays perfectly. This static sound video slow speed effects latest Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, and happens with both Flash & HTML5, and is somehow connected to cursor motion. Also, Safari won't save any History between relaunches. I've reset Safari, and deleted all data. In System Preferences...>Flash Player>Advanced>Delete User Data, if I tried to "Delete all user data" I'd get an error message saying the data couldn't be deleted, and may be used by some other application. I said to reboot and try again, which didn't help. I wondered if there was perhaps a permissions escalation that was not allowing access to the Flash data files and the Safari history. Disk Utility>Repair Permissions doesn't show anything strange except that the mach_kernel file has an ACL that is not expected. I'm not sure which AMD 10.9.2 kernel I'm using, it's 8.3MB in size. I'd tried another one that had pink icons & graphics glitches, so I switched to this one which seems to work. Also, AppStore launches at startup every time even though there's no login item or launch daemon that I can find. About one out of every 5 boots the Setup asks about signing into iCloud with AppleID. HWMonitor is v.6xxx and an updater wants to install v6.5xxx which will not even launch if installed, but even if the "Skip This Version" is marked in the updater, it will always check every reboot, again seeming like a lack of permission to write the preference. Shutdown always works, but Restart won't complete and the CPU temp will run higher & higher after a Restart command until I manually force Shutdown. Any help would be appreciated. ======================== Here's the Geekbench 32-bit score data: Platform: Mac OS X x86 (32-bit) Compiler: GCC 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5484) Operating System: Mac OS X 10.9.2 (Build 13C64) Model: Hackintosh Motherboard: Apple Inc.
