  1. Hello, I`m very new to all hackintosh thing. At first I wanted to install Mac OS Sierra or High Sierra on my PC but I got X64 Exception Type error during install. So I tried Yosemite and it installed without any errors. I used this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXb3eg7Etek. My bootflags are nvda_drv=1, and npci=0x3000. My problem is that it runs slow. I installed the right nvidia driver package and it worked because my dock is transparent . I also switched OSX driver to nvidia web driver. Installed Mac OS on hdd instead of SSD maybe that it why it runs so slow. Some animations are also a little laggy but when you open downloads folder it is extremely laggy. I can install Mac OS on SSD but I don`t really want that because I have currently installed windows 10 on it and I really don`t want to do that unless I really know if it will work because I have important files there. I have GeForce GTX 960, amd 6300 fx, 12 gigs of ram and MSI 760GM-P23/FX (MS-7641) motherboard. Someone please help me and I can also provide more information if needed!
  2. So after a lot of time struggling with my MacBook Pro mid-2009 for app development, I decided to try my luck with a hackintosh. So after a couple of days struggling with that, I finally managed to get it to work. And now unfortunately, my hackintosh, which is basically an iMac 2015 is performing almost as bad as my 2009 MBP, not much improvement for my work. Here are the Geekbench results: https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/6477700 So my machine scored 1309 for Single Core, and 4525 for Multi Core. For comparison, a real iMac 2015 scores 5282, and 17364 respectively. And my 2009 MBP scores 1721 and 2910. So although I expect performance with non-Apple hardware to be worse, my scores seem really really low. My hardware is: MSI Z170A Gaming 3, Intel Core i7 6700K@4.00Ghz, GeForce GTX 970, 300GB SSD Does anyone have any ideas? I really need some help here, I'm a total noob when it comes to hackintosh and I don't know what to do next.

    Infinite loading

So i recently decided that i prefer mac over windows and yesturday i tried to install it but to no luck. I have created the usb witht yosemite zone and when i boot to it, it starts loading it rely slowly untill after about 2 or 3 hours it gets half way and it stops progressing everaly. Iam kinda nob at this the only times i have instaled mac was on a macbook pro and the unibody but the proces was straight forward select cd/usb and choose where to install and wait till its done, and here i have no idea what to do my pc specs are Intel i54460 @ 3.20 GHz 16GB Ram (not sure whats the clock on it but if needed i can find out) msi Gtx 750 ti Asus H81M-D Plus motherboard i also have a dedicated 1TB hdd for the mac asuming it will work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  6. Hello everyone, I am new to hackintosh and my build is almost working good but I am facing some problems regarding boot time... My hackintosh installation process as well as post installation process ran into problems in many different ways but finally I was able to manage the VGA and network working like charm but till now I am not able to solve the boot problem, that problem may not be that important to some people but that is surely embarrassing for me. The problem is with the boot time, I think the boot time of my hackintosh is not so normal , the loading screen with Niresh Hackintosh logo is taking one minute and twelve seconds to fill out the area and boot up but i think that should be 20-30 seconds at all. I had tried many ways to fix that issue but was unable to do so, hence I am posting it here because it is quite clear that I can't solve that problem without help from the hackintosh pros.... By going into the verbose mode i noticed that when the line "something compiles for snow leopart, lion, mountain lion" appears, the processor light stop blinking but only for some second, then at another line i.e. missing Bluetooth controller error, it stuck for many seconds, without these two lines the boot process is surely 25-30 second long... In the previous day my hackintosh stuck forever at missing bluetooth controller error but then i solved that by disable graphics enabler but that error still appear in verbose mode and now its stucking for some time as mentioned earlier , hence I think there is something to do with this missing Bluetooth controller error because it is the last line before booting up, I tried some ways to solve that error (one was by removing two apple Intel kext from single user mode) but it still appears!! Shut down is also an issue, normally after clicking shut down the monitor goes black and shut down within some seconds or immediately, sometimes it takes longer to shut down and sometime some strange small white texts appear in black screen with some errors (like cpu halted) i think. I tried EvoReboot but that works perfectly for only one time (i can see the spinning wheel with black background that time), that is not working from the next boot. Here is my Config: Processor: AMD FX™-4100 Quad core Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 5450 Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M LX V2 (Simple BIOS no UEFI) Ethernet: Realtek® 8111E , 1 x Gigabit LAN Controller(s) "Sound": Realtek® ALC887 8-Channel High Definition "Sound" CODEC *2 Here are some more details that can be useful: ** I have simple bios (no uefi), so there was no need to patch dsdt or other stuff..., In the BIOS menu i only edited SATA mode to AHCI to boot properly, nothing more is edited till now. ** My Hackintosh version is 10.10.3 ** Booting Yosemite Zone from the pendrive is also slow. ** I installed hackintosh on a HDD (not SSD) ** I have to use GraphicsEnabler=No and npci=0x3000 every time (technically) to boot ** Now I am dual booting hackintosh with win 8.1 (same thing occurred with single booting) Now i am fully depending on the pros to solve that problem, any type of help will be super highly appreciated. Thanks for reading....good night.

    Slow booting

Everything's slow until i move the mouse

Hey all ! im trying to get my hackintosh working, i can get to the installation, but it is very, very, very slow, until i move the mouse. I have to keep my mouse moving to get the pc working normally. specs: Amd Phenom X4 965 BE 3,4GHz MSI 760G p43FX 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Sapphire HD5670 GDDR5 1GB Thanks for the help !
  9. I was able to install niresh mavericks 10.9.0 in my machine (i7 4770k, nvida gt760, asus b85m-e, realtek 8111F lan) with minimum effort(only 1 bootflag) . Everything works ok (bootloader, sound, video, lan )but there is a very BIG problem: even tough my lan is active and i can connect via PPPoe (direct connection) my internet speeds are very and i mean VERY SLOW (barely can load pages). I also have windows in this machine where im able to download at 10mb/s therefore internet speed should not be an issue. I tried installing different kexts, disable IPv6, change mtu, full&half duplex but nothing works. Anyone else had this problem before and he/she was able to solve it ?

    Graphics and slow

Anyone know what might cause graphics to go funny when using safari or chrome? Its sort of like when you fast forward a vcr the horizontal lines that go down and flickers til the web page is fully loaded? And also is there a way to speed up the read write process for the hard drive it takes a while to install kexts or browse files, the machine seems a bit sluggish overall
