  1. Hi, I'm new to this whole hackintosh thing, and i'm getting some problems when booting from my USB (I'm trying to install Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.1). I already formatted my USB using transmac, and I restored the disk image with the "Yosemite-Zone.dmg" file. Also, I made sure to change my bios settings correctly. My problem is, when I boot from my USB and select "Yosemite Zone", it brings me to a screen with the hackintosh logo and stays there, and I can never continue to the next step to install hackintosh. Here is what the screen looks like: (this is not my picture. I got this picture from the internet, but my screen looks exactly the same) Specs of my PC: Intel core i5 7500 (cpu) 16gb of ram (ram) GeForce GTX 1060 3GB (gpu) Gigabyte H110M-a (motherboard) Can someone please help me with this problem Thanks in advanced
  2. Black Screeen Boot, No error. Hi! I have tried running a vanilla macOS Sierra Install and it's a little too difficult with the hardware I have so I have decided to try Yosemite-Zone Mobo: Not sure, some Lenovo mobo that came with the PC 4GB RAM CPU: Intel Core i5 3470S @ 2.9Ghz Graphics: Intel Integrated HD 2500 (I know this is only slightly supported in Yosemite) So when booting from the USB in VirtualBox and from my BIOS, it either carries on to boot Windows or says No boot medium. I tried booting Yosemite-Zone.iso in VirtualBox and it didnt boot OSX Installer but I got to the bootloader. The ISO is too big too fit onto a DVD and I tried 'burning' it to USB using rufus but it is an "unsupported image" The reason I would like to use the ISO is because the DMG does not seem to work. Let me add that the USB I tried booting from had Yosemite-Zone.dmg on it from TransMac. Not really sure what else to do, I know this is a useful community so any help is appreciated. Nick
  3. Yosemite not booting up after successful install Hey guys I'm new here and I've got a question. I just successfully installed OS X Yosemite on my computer, but now I can't seem to get it to boot up through the usb. I don't know what is wrong or which flags I should use because this is my first time doing this. I have an Asus Geforce 750 Ti in this machine, maybe that's the problem? Please help me
  4. I saw some other post about amd systems not booting but I think my situation is a bit special. I have two disk: 120GB SSD Windows 1TB Hard Drive 700GB Mass storage for windows 120GB Mac OSX 80GB Ubuntu Linux 10GB Linux partition 4MB Linux partition Rig Specs FX-8350 GTX 760 Asus Sabertooth 990fx I would like to know how can I boot into my linux partition. I clicked the hard drive and the windows buttons on the mac osx start menu/ boot manager and they both said it was missing something (boot something) and ctr, alt, delete to restart. Then when I tried to boot into mac osx it would just crash. I am new to hackintoshes but very experienced with computers. I will post pictures sometime tomorrow to better show my problem. All help is greatly appreciated.
  5. Dear Helper, Hi, So as the topic says, my OSX Niresh isn't booting up . (I have some image and a video attached below) After install it never booted, not even once, tried a lot of things but It said that install was successful. In video/pic I am only using -v flag to show you what is happening and no other flag is in use. Maybe it is a Kernel Panic ? 2 things I wanted to tell is that first I am dual Booting it with Windows 7 and Second I am using USB to install. By default its a clover boot loader, didn't changed it.
