Help - busy timeout : AppleEFIRuntime

Hi, I finally decided to install macOS high sierra on my laptop - Lenovo IdeaPad 720S 15IKB. It has: i5-7300HQ, Intel HM175 12GB DDR4 RAM A Samsung 256GB NVMe Drive GTX 1050 Ti With Max-Q The first try did not boot so i had to use some args to get it to boot. The first problem arises due to the fact that all available usb slots are usb 3.1. The installer did not recognise my keyboard and trackpad and i had to install some kexts to get them working. Well, after i intalled the kexts, It was stuck in a boot loop. I was fed up and it was late so i decided to download hackintosh zone from niresh. I would install it later. Well, when i run hackintosh zone it gets stuck at the apple logo after loading. I ran it in verbose mode and it gets stuck in the following [Date] localhost com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] <Error>: Host-level exception raised: pid = 541, thread = 0xbf1f, exception type = 0xd, codes = { 0 }, states = { 0 } busy timeout[0], (240s): 'AppleEFIRuntime' busy timeout[1], (240s): 'AppleEFIRuntime' busy timeout[2], (240s): 'AppleEFIRuntime' Then the screen goes blank and it starts over. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  3. I boot up like normal unibeast using the proper boot options in bios, and get the clover bootloader. I select the external usb for osx and I get the black screen with the apple logo. (I want to install macos in HDD). and when i use (-X) boot with verbose mode, It display only ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ nothing else.
  4. Laptop not powering on after running bootable Sierra USB What I did: Made a bootable macOS sierra USB from .dmg file.Turned off the PC. (Which previously had Ubuntu)Plugged the USB in. Bios successfully recognized it.But then it kept showing a blinking screen. So, I long pressed the power button to turn it off.It did turn off.(Albeit, it doesn't start now.)What's happening now: Nothing. No LEDs come up, the power button doesn't switch the laptop on.I read somewhere that it might be a power failure, so I plugged in a usb flashlight with and without battery(on AC) and the flashlight goes on for a second. The Power LED doesn't glow. No fans. No beep. No other sounds. What's going on?Model: e039-TXMake: HPProcessor: Intel i5Ram: 8GB

    MacOS on HP 15-ay198nr

MacOS on HP 15-ay198nr I have a HP 15-ay198nr, it has an Intel i7 7th generation processor, 8 GB of RAM, Intel HD graphics, and a SSD in it. Here are the FULL specs for my laptop. Is it compatible? Does any of these specs put out a huge red flag? CPU Intel Core i7 @ 2.70GHz Kaby Lake-U/Y 14nm Technology RAM 8.00GB Single-Channel Unknown @ 1064MHz (15-15-15-35) Motherboard HP 81ED (U3E1) 28 °C Graphics Generic PnP Monitor (1366x768@60Hz) Intel HD Graphics 620 (HP) Storage 238GB SanDisk SD8SNAT-256G-1006 (SSD) Optical Drives hp DVDRW DU8AESH Audio Realtek High Definition Audio Network Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter I tried installing it once via multibeast, I could get the installer to open, but then nothing would happen when I would try and install it. It would go to the loading screen, but no further. Maybe I should try using the hackintosh zone files instead? Thanks in advance.

  9. Upgrade to Sierra from Yosemite-Zone Hello there! I am new to hackintoshing, and I just installed Yosemite-Zone on my computer: Dell Inspiron 530 1.99 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 3 GB 664 MHz DDR2 SDRAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 1024 MB I was wondering how I could update to Sierra from my existing installation without loosing any data. I tried to use the App Store installer, but when I clicked restart, it stayed with a black screen and the mouse for a long time, until it restarted, but it didn't do anything. I also tried to boot into the drive labeled 'Recovery' but I got a crossed out circle. I was able to boot back into Yosemite, but no Sierra. Any ideas? Thanks! -Nathaniel
