  2. Hi everyone, this is my first request of help in this forum, I have done a clean installation of High Sierra on my AMD build with the next specs: - A8-5600K - F2-A88XM-D3H - R7 240 OC I had been working with my completely done hackintosh over the past months but I can´t keep going with an issue that its very frustrating for me, this is that my internal clock gains over 3 seconds for every minute that goes in my iPhone, I had used the stopwatch on both my iPhone and my Hackintosh and seemed that my Hackintosh clock is faster, what this makes is that videos run faster than the audio, so after a few seconds its clear that video and audio doesn't match at all, this also happens with Spotify´s timeline... All of my other devices (GPU, audio, network) are working fine, what I did this time was to completely make a clean installation, my Hackintosh is now clean without the kext of the GPU, audio and network devices so I can work on fixing the clock issue, I tried the "time.apple.com" method and didn't worked at all... On Clover the only "fix" I made was to type in "clock speed (Mhz)" the value of "3,600" because in "About this Mac" I got 3.59 Ghz, so I supposed that would fix the problem... it didn't. I asked in a Facebook latinamerican forum of Hackintosh (I'm from Mexico) of the possible solutions for this issue and one guy pointed it might be something related to the kernel and one of the possible solutions was to change it... I did investigate about the available kernels of Hackintosh and realized that the one that was working specifically for my CPU is made for Mavericks, but because Kernel location changed in Yosemite I can´t use that one... (because the new one is a different file extension located in System/Kernels/) So the only kernel I was able to download and use was the "Shaneee 10.13" kernel which I changed for the original Kernel and kept the same damn issue in the clock speed... so even if 3 seconds of difference don't seem such a problem believe me that it has made my desperation rise and erased my HDD to try again a fresh install... Idk if its something related to the kernel or it might be some small change I have to make in Clover to make this thing work... even if there wouldn´t be any solution at least I would like to know if there's a program or tweak in OSX to make video slower or sound faster (just by milliseconds). Oh... I forgot to mention I also tried to solve the issue with the RTC patch and neither worked... I would really appreciate the support of one of you nice guys that I know your knowledge and help will be rewarded... Greetings!
  3. hallo, i don't arrive a wich program use and how for change the kernel on the usb that i have created with pandora o unibeast . thanks
  4. Hello, This is my first topic here, so I hope it follows all the rules. I'm using an AMD FX 6300 with the /amd1 kernel. Notice: This guide is now obsolete, although it can be still useful if you wanna replace a kernel by hand. Download the new Yosemite here: Hackintosh Yosemite A warning Before you proceed following this guide be warned that I am not responsible for any damages to you or your hackintosh installation. What you need A working hackintosh installation Yosemite 10.10.1 Update package Installation disk (see How to Install Yosemite on Your PC guide) The guide Copy your current kernel to "/Users/kernel". This can be done using the following command in Terminal (you have to enter your password when executing this command): sudo cp /System/Library/Kernels/kernel /Users/kernel Take note of your volume name (you can use Disk Utility for this). The name of my partition is "Yosemite" Download the Yosemite 10.10.1 Update package and open "OSXUpd10.10.1.pkg". Follow all the installation steps and finish the installation by pressing "Restart". Instead of booting from your hard drive, boot from the installation disk. Enter the correct startup options for your processor (for example /amd if you're using an AMD processor). After the setup started correctly, select your language and after that use "Utilities -> Terminal" to open the terminal. Copy the kernel you saved in /Users to your /System/Library/Kernels directory, you can use the following command for this: cp -f /Volumes/"Yosemite"/Users/kernel /Volumes/"Yosemite"/System/Library/Kernels/kernel Make sure to replace "Yosemite" with your volume name. After this run the following commands (still replacing "Yosemite" with your volume name): rm -rf /Volumes/"Yosemite"/System/Library/Caches kextcache -u /Volumes/"Yosemite" Restart your system, removing the installation disk. After you restarted, you have to follow a small wizard and after that, you installed Yosemite 10.10.1! Hopefully, this is useful for some of you, Mr. eXoDia.
  5. Freezing leading to "Can't find mach_kernel" So, my "hack mini" build has been freezing dead still at random times. I hadn't taken care of the problem yet so I just manually power off the computer and start it again. Today it froze again, but when I restarted it, after the usual "Press enter to start up Darwin/x86" etc., I get this error "Can't find /mach_kernel." If try it with -v I get this: Loading Darwin 10.1 Kernel cache ignored. Loading kernel /mach_kernel Can't find /mach_kernel Any ideas of how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

OS X on Acer 532h Atom

OS X on Acer 532h Atom I have a Acer Aspire One 532h, it has a Aton n450 processor, I've been trying to install OS X on it for the past week and I've faced many issues so far. My install has to be via USB, and I don't have a Mac or hackintosh right now. Using Niresh Mountain Lion 10.8.5 DMG file I can easily put the install on a USB drive, however it has Clover, no boot flag or config makes it boot. The laptop just reboots immediately after I hit enter. I tried downloading the 10.8.2 iso, but i'ts a ISO and the guide to put it on USB with Windows doesn't work, so I can't move on. I also want to know if Niresh's 10.8.5 ISO contains a different bootloader from the DMG and the kernel support for atom processors.

  8. Can not boot up Yosemite install without installer USB Hi, It's been a while! So, I came across two old SFF setups that I could buy for just a couple of bucks. One of them is an NEC power mate VL280. I installed Yosemite 10.10.1 on it which I updated to 10.10.5 without problems. Everything is working fine, except for 2 little problems: 1. I can't boot up from my harddrive. Chameleon gives me the error that mach_kernel cannot be found. It boots fine when I use the Yosemite install USB to boot, though. When I link to the kernel in /System/Library/Kernel/ in the boot arguments, my computer just reboots. 2. Whenever the computer goes into standby, my monitor refuses to power back on. Any advice? Intel Core 2 Duo E6550, 2.3Ghz Motherboard is unknown, since it is produced for NEC, but it has the Intel G31 or G33 chipset Sapphire Radeon HD 6450 1GB, Low-Profile 4GB DDR2 RAM, 667Mhz I am using Chameleon v2.2svn r2286 as built-in boot loader. Thanks in advance, Rico
  9. Instal USB won't find kernel Hi. I am stuck with my PC and can't load the installation program of Yosemite. After I managed to build my own InstallESD on a USB stick, I tried Chameleon, Clover and Chimera but failed. None of the bootloaders found the kernel and therefore won't load. Chimera 4.1.0 at least says "Loading Darwin 10.10.5 Kernel Cache ignored. Loading kernel /System/Library/Kernels/kernel Can't find /System/Library/Kernels/kernel" Any suggestions? The Kernel of MACos Sierra - Password: Sierra
  13. Hello guyz, after a lot of research and uncountable tries with various kernels and kext files, i had successfully installed OSX 10.10.3 on my AMD FX 8350. I would like to help every AMD FX users on how to install 10.10.3 on their System and enable GFX acceleration on nvidia cards. Prerequisites: Download the 10.10.3 Combo update file from the link below. https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1804?locale=en_US Installation Instructions: Step 1: Install Yosemite Zone 10.10.1 with /amd1 bootflag OR Install 10.10.1 with Unibeast drive using amd kernel Step 2: Download the .rar file from the link below and extract it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2tOEfugYcrnTTVtRDNISjBKV2s/view?usp=sharing Step 3: In the rar file you will get a file as "kern" without quotes. Its the kernel file. Copy/paste the file on the root of you hackintosh drive. Also copy/paste two other kext files named as AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext on the root of your hackintosh or downloads folder of your hackintosh as we will need these two files later. Also Copy/paste the Web driver which i had also given on the rar file. Step 4: Now its time to install the 10.10.3 combo update file which u had downloaded. Step 5: After installing the update file, dont restart your PC. First, you have to copy/paste the pthread.kext file on System/Library/Extensions. or you can use Kext Wizard to install the Kext. You will get the pthread.kext file on the rar file which u had downloaded. On the rar file, you will get a .zip file named as 10102-UPD-Patch-pthread.kext.zip. Extract that zip file and you will get pthread.kext. Step 6: After installing the kext, Fix permissions with Kext wizard and then restart your PC and let the update complete. Step 7: After updating the hackintosh to 10.10.3, its time to boot. So now we need that kernel file which we had pasted on the root directory of the hackintosh drive earlier. So, insert the Yosemite Zone Pendrive as because we need that drive to boot into our hackintosh drive as it has got chameleon installed. Step 8: After inserting the Yosemite Zone Pendrive, boot from the pendrive and select your hackintosh drive from the chameleon boot menu. And now use the following boot flags: /kern -v -x -f Step 9: Patience. It will take some time to boot and after successful boot, it will boot without hardware acceleration. Step 10: Now we need to install the two other kext which we had copied earlier. So fire up Kext Wizard and install those two kext AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext. After installing the kexts, fix permission using kext wizard. Step 11: install the nvidia web driver which you had copied earlier. After installing the driver, remember to use boot flag nvda_drv=1 on org.chameleon.boot.plist and also copy the kernel file "kern" without quotes to System/Library/kernels and run chameleon Wizard and on org.chameleon.boot. option, tick mark kernel option and on the text bar below type in "kern" without quotes. This will make the OSX boot with kern everytime and you dont need to enter /kern bootflag everytime. Step 12: Reboot your PC and on the Chameleon Boot menu, Choose your hackintosh drive and hit ENTER. ENJOY YOSEMITE 10.10.3 on AMD FX. My Specification: CPU: AMDFX 8350 GPU: NVIDIA GTX 760 RAM: 8GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE MOBO: ASUS M5A97 R2.0

    Hackintosh strange Kernel Panic

Hello, I've installed Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 on my Alienware X51. In the beginning i had many problems like Reboot Loop but i solved it with the Haswell Kernel and the npci=0x2000 Flag. Then i installed it. And the next problem was the Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport Error when i booted into OSX Yosemite. I fixed it by removing the Kext from the IntelHD Driver. And the next problem was that it was stuck at the [IOBluetoothHCIController][start] -- completed screen. Then i fixed it but after i configured my Hackintosh a Kernel Panic appeared. See in the attached Photo. And sorry for my Bad English. I'm from Germany. Hope you can Help me!
  17. Hello, Just curious, is there any word on an AMD kernel for the 10.10.3 update? I installed 10.10.1 Zone with /amd and cant seem to find a kernel yet other than: http://www.hackintoshosx.com/file/4510-amd-yosemite-10103-kernel-and-kexts/ Which from the comments I am not too confident about it. I am running an AMD FX-4150 Also can someone provide me some background on how to properly update the kernel without breaking my hackintosh now that I have it working good so far (minus sleep, icloud, imessage) Thanks! P.S. I would also really like to extend my gratitude to @Niresh THANK YOU!!!

    Haswell Early Reboot

I have Yosemite Zone burned to my USB, I can boot into the USB installer, but I simply can't boot into the mac installer, I see a flash of a grey image then instant reboot. I believe it's because of my CPU but I've searched to find something but I can't find a solution? I have found Niresh's upload of the patched kernels for the Haswell range but, I have no clue how to install them. Can someone please in detail explain how to install these, would be very much appreciated. CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k 4.0Ghz MOBO: MSI Z97 Gaming 7 Motherboard
  19. Hello friends, how about, I hope well, achieving Yosemite 10.10 install everything right, I am using but I get a kernel panic, restart and until I get out of there, but then put the error screen again, and try to install anyway but I always get this error anyone help me please leave thanks capture error.
  20. I tried to install Yosemite 10.10.1 and i have successfully installed it before using the Chameleon bootloader, but i've had no success with the Clover bootloader and that's which bootloader i wish to use as it fixes the Imessage issue, but as I was always stuck between the boot and login screen. I know it has to do with the kernel, but i don't know where i repleace the kernel or if there's certain kexts i have to load. The only way i would make it past was in safe mode which is almost useless. Has anyone had any success on an FX-8xxx Series CPU with the latest version of Yosemite-Zone (10.10.1) using Clover? If so, what configuration did you use? My build: CPU: AMD FX-8320, 3.5ghz Ram: 10Gb DDR3 Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB MoBo: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+
  21. 10.10.1 runs near perfectly, tried updating to 10.10.3 (via 10.10.3 Updater and this happened: when I "press any button" I had an instant reboot My Laptop specs: HP Pavilion 15-p033ca 4th Gen Intel core i5-4210U processor (1.7 GHz to 2.7GHz) Intel HD4400 integrated graphics 6GB DDR3L SDRAM 750GB HDD (Partitioned 400GB for Windows 8.1, 350GB Mac OSX, named "Macintosh HD" ) Broadcom BCM43142 (14E4:4365) (Wi-Fi/BT Combo Chip) Realtek Ethernet
  22. Hi all, So near to a breakthrough but I need some help... AMD FX 6300 AMD Radeon R7 260x Gigabyte GA-970-UD3P Existing Windows 7 on local HD Using Yosemite 10.10.1 distro via a USB key, it seemed to install successfully to a seperate HDD but after restarting it just boots into Windows, and I can see in the UEFI/BIOS that boot priority has been altered so that my Yosemite HD is at the top. I have booted into the USB and tried to select the Yosemite HD, and this looks right but when I enter the same bootflags as before: amd64 -v npci=0x3000 ...it says can't find systemlibrarykernelsamd64 and using HFSExplorer, I can see it's there! amd64 is there! If I can find it, why can't it?! I did have the same error when trying to install, BUT I moved the 'amd64' file from the root of the USB and into systemlibrarykernels because that's where it was looking for it. Is that normal? I haven't found anyone else who had to do that but it worked for the install, annoying now it doesn't work to boot. Can anyone please help? Many thanks! Tom

    Issues with booting! GTX 970M

Hey all, Firstly I would like to thank Niresh for a great Hackintosh build, it's been the easiest to install by far. I've managed to install Yosemite Zone on both my HDD and an external USB stick. I can boot completely fine with the USB, however if I try to boot into my HDD it stops loading at a certain point and my fans start to run very loudly. I have a MSI Ghost Pro Laptop, with a NVDIA GeForce GTX 970M graphics card, Intel Core i7 4720HQ, Motherboard: MSI MS-16H5. Kernel panic also occurs if i try to boot in safe mode (-x), i've attached a picture. Any help whatsoever will be appreciated, been trying to install this for days! Thank you
  24. So as the title says, I get a kernel panic which traced back to that. This started happening after I just wiped the Yosemite drive and reinstalled Yosemite but instead of using chimera, I used Clover. Here are three photos I took before It shut off almost instantly. 1: https://i.imgur.com/hYfvfSc.jpg 2. https://i.imgur.com/mwZA42L.jpg 3. https://i.imgur.com/AjGZHWo.jpg Any clue as to why this is happening? I have the proper FakeSMC.kext and the proper Ethernet kext. I do however have wireless/bluetooth MPCIe Combo ii from Asus. My Specs: - Asus Maximus VI Formula (Motherboard) - EVGA GTX 680 2GB SC (GPU) - Intel i7 4770k @ Stock (CPU) - G.Skill TridentX 16GB 2400Hz (RAM) - 1050W Power Supply (PSU) - 3 HDDs & 1 Disk Drive (Other Stuff) As noted before: The motherboard came with something called a 'MPCIe Combo ii' which is a MPCI card that has the '2-in-1 Bluetooth+Wireless' in one card, hence the 'Combo' in its name. According to windows, its modelID is 'BCM43B1'. While WiFi is not needed at the moment, it will eventually as I won't be able to tether my laptop's wireless connection over an Ethernet cable forever... Any help with be greatly appreciated, DerpleNerple2000

    Haswell kernel panic

Hi guys, I'm trying to install Yosemite Zone on my PC, but when I boot it from USB it loads a bit and then gives kernel panic. I've tried a lot of boot args, I tried with and without xpcm-free kernel, but nothing works. Here is picture. Better quality here.
