    [SOLVED]Install issues - mavericks

Good evening everyone! First of all, sorry for my bad English, i am Hungarian. I installed Mavericks 10.9 in VMware yesterday on my PC without any issues but after the installation i had no Ethernet connection. (At the start of the install i chose "Connect to the internet" but after clicking "Next" it just went back to the start, so thereafter i chose "Im not connecting to the internet" and continued installing) So today I'm trying to install it again but now i can't erase the virtual driver (or something like that) to install the OS X on it. The disk1 I have is about 2 GB and it has the os x installer on it. It should be a disk0 or a 120GB VMware virtual disk, I think. My system specs: Processor: AMD FX 8320 3.5Ghz Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 RAM: 8 GB Videocard: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB dual fan no OC OS: Windows 7 64bit Thanks for the help! Here is a picture about it: [sOLVED] Just change the disk format to IDE from SCSI in vmware.
  2. Hi guys I am very new to the whole Hackintosh thing and am trying to install OS X Maverick on to my Qosmio X770. I have a drive with windows installed and a separate drive that I want to install OS X to. I've created a Niresh Maverick USB drive but the furthest I can get is to the language selection screen where I select English and then press enter. After this the laptop reboots back to the Niresh boot menu. I have tried some boot flags such as -x and -v but I don't really know which i should be selecting for my laptop. My laptop specs are listed below. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance. [*]Windows® 7 Home Pro 64-bit (pre-installed, Toshiba-HDD recovery) [*]Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM Processor [*]Toshiba TruBrite® FHD TFT High Brightness display for 3D Vision with LED backlighting and 16 : 9 aspect ratio [*]1,000 (Solid State Hybrid 4G Drive with 750GB and 4GB NAND flash + 500GB) GB [*]Metallic Urban Black with red colour gradation and textured line pattern, black keyboard [*]8,192 (4,096 + 4,096) MB [*]DDR3 RAM (1,333 MHz) [*]NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560M with CUDA™ Technology

Install on Dell Inspiron 15r 5537

Hi everybody, first of I'd like to thank you all for any help that you provide me. I'm having trouble installing on my Dell inspiron 15r 5537. I have went over numerous guides to make sure my BIOS settings are correct, but mainly the one I was following was this guide here: ( http://www.macbreaker.com/2013/04/install-mountain-lion-hackintosh-niresh.html ) When I try to boot directly from the DVD the apple logo flashes and then quickly goes to a black screen and nothing happens. So while searching around I found the Clover bootloader and I used that to boot the cd with the default settings and boot arguments (-v debug=1x00) I know about verbose mode since I am a mac user too, so when it was loading up it shows this So then i change the boot args (boot flags) to -x PCIRootUID=0 and 1 its shows the apple logo then goes to the circle with a line through it, so I'm at a complete loss, please help me? lol What am i missing. Here are my pc specs: notebook-Dell Inspiron 15r 5537 Graphics-intel hd4000 Ram-6gb CPU- Intel Core i5 2.30ghz OS-Windows 8.1 Motherboard-unknown/dell
