  3. Version 20140424

Intel ACPI tools. NEW version 20140424 compiled by me from original sources. Use iasl compiler with your DSDTSE or another editor. To update your DSDTSE, simply right click on DSDTSE -> Show contents, drag'n'drop iasl into -> Contents -> Resources. Another editors have mostly the same way. Or another way by Terminal: drag iasl on Terminal window (bash), (press Return (Enter) to see all keys) -> write some keys, drag Aml/Dsl file to compile/decompile. This way you can more deeply configure/clean your DSDT during compile (especially with -w3 key), find more warnings and junk code, empty / uninitialized methods. Have a nice day compilings! Amen. What's New in Version 20140424 (See full changelog) 24 April 2014. Summary of changes for version 20140424: 1) ACPICA kernel-resident subsystem: Implemented support to skip/ignore NULL address entries in the RSDT/XSDT. Some of these tables are known to contain a trailing NULL entry. Lv Zheng. Removed an extraneous error message for the case where there are a large number of system GPEs (> 124). This was the "32-bit FADT register is too long to convert to GAS struct" message, which is irrelevant for GPEs since the GPEx_BLK_LEN fields of the FADT are always used instead of the (limited capacity) GAS bit length. Also, several changes to ensure proper support for GPE numbers > 255, where some "GPE number" fields were 8-bits internally. Implemented and deployed additional configuration support for the public ACPICA external interfaces. Entire classes of interfaces can now be easily modified or configured out, replaced by stubbed inline functions by default. Lv Zheng. Moved all public ACPICA runtime configuration globals to the public ACPICA external interface file for convenience. Also, removed some obsolete/unused globals. See the file acpixf.h. Lv Zheng. Documentation: Added a new section to the ACPICA reference describing the maximum number of GPEs that can be supported by the FADT-defined GPEs in block zero and one. About 1200 total. See section 4.4.1 of the ACPICA reference. Example Code and Data Size: These are the sizes for the OS-independent acpica.lib produced by the Microsoft Visual C++ 9.0 32-bit compiler. The debug version of the code includes the debug output trace mechanism and has a much larger code and data size. Current Release: Non-Debug Version: 96.8K Code, 27.2K Data, 124.0K Total Debug Version: 189.5K Code, 79.7K Data, 269.2K Total Previous Release: Non-Debug Version: 97.0K Code, 27.2K Data, 124.2K Total Debug Version: 189.7K Code, 79.5K Data, 269.2K Total 2) iASL Compiler/Disassembler and Tools: iASL and disassembler: Add full support for the LPIT table (Low Power Idle Table). Includes support in the disassembler, data table compiler, and template generator. AcpiDump utility: 1) Add option to force the use of the RSDT (over the XSDT). 2) Improve validation of the RSDP signature (use 8 chars instead of 4). iASL: Add check for predefined packages that are too large. For predefined names that contain subpackages, check if each subpackage is too large. (Check for too small already exists.) Debugger: Updated the GPE command (which simulates a GPE by executing the GPE code paths in ACPICA). The GPE device is now optional, and defaults to the GPE 0/1 FADT-defined blocks. Unix application OSL: Update line-editing support. Add additional error checking and take care not to reset terminal attributes on exit if they were never set. This should help guarantee that the terminal is always left in the previous state on program exit.

    Push for Baytrail Graphics Kexts

I'm seeking hackintosh noobs and people who desire to hackintosh their computers who own devices with baytrail processors (2013 and later pentium, atom, and celeron). We need highly skilled hackintoshers who can make or modify Mac OSX kernel extensions (kexts) to modify the IntelHD3000 or IntelHD4000 kexts to work with intel gen7 (Baytrail) graphics, as I believe that gen7 is based on the ivy bridge (HD40000) architecture. There are many people who own baytrail tablets or have built their own Baytrail-D pc's who want to hackintosh, but due to lack of support, cannot. I, personally, am running a dell inspiron 11 3000 i1347 model 2in1 pc with baytrail pentium N3530. My Mavericks installation works like a dream all other than the lack of graphics acceleration. To the hackintosh people out there that wish to see these kexts go from wish to reality, please reply to this topic stating that you would support this cause as well, and contribute any useful information you may have on this issue if maybe you're not a complete noob I hope to get the word out about this so we can use the skills and knowledge of the hackintosh community as a whole and over the course of the next year or so possibly have at least some baytrail processors fully supported (graphics and all) in any OSX version 10.9 and up by the end of the year. Happy belated new year to everyone and happy hackintoshing!
  5. Hi there, I'm trying to hackintosh my PC and I've hit an obstacle early on. Every time I boot the installer, the VoodooPS2Mouse fails to start. It hangs for about 30 seconds and then the text goes all weird so I have to reset. PC Specs: Intel Core i5-8400 GIGABYTE Windforce GTX 1060 3GB OC Edition 8GB DDR4 2666MHz Ballistix Sport LT Red RAM ADATA 128GB SATA SSD 1TB HGTS 7200RPM HDD 500GB WD Green 5400RPM HDD I am installing the HZ Sierra from an external HDD. I used TransMac to put the DMG image onto the drive. I'd appreciate any help I can get, I have no idea what I'm doing with this, It's my second hackintosh (my first one failed eventually and I gave up) - JJE

Need HELP with Intel HD Graphics 5500

Hi I tried to install OSX El capitain before and my intel was working perfectly but now i erased it and installed macOS sierra I tried all guides and removed the OS and reinstalled it a lot and tried to upgrade the os to 10.12.6 but every time i face the same thing i have my Intel Graphics HD 5500 with 1536 MB but it doesn't work at all i still have glitching and i have gray lock screen and it is like i don't have graphics (this problem happened only with sierra 10.12.3 and 10.12.6 but not with el capitain 10.11.3) So i have uploaded some photos and a file of my laptop information and clover information and some photos of kexts which i used my laptop specifics : HP Pavilion 15 p218ne Ram: 6 GB Processor : Intel I5-5200U Graphics : - Intel HD Graphics 5500 - Nvidia Geforce 840M (my Laptop specifics) Clover settings (My kexts) (they were working perfectly on el capitain and the AppleintelBDHWGraphicsF..... is the one which made my intel 1536MB but still not working)
  7. Hi, this is my first posts on the forum. I've tried to get a hackintosh running on my Dell XPS 13 9350, with i5-6200u, 8GB Ram, DW1560, 256GB NVME SSD, and a 1.4.4 BIOS. I am currently trying to get running macOS Sierra running on this computer. --- I've tried to get working sycls guides, or any other install but Wifi patches alway break the computer after being installed (other things work however) . With this installer, I'm able to get wifi working except nothing else works correctly. I am comfortable dealing with the other things later, but currently my display is detected as a 55 inch display with the correct resolution of 3200x1800 (not sure about second number). Regardless, the intel GPU is detected correctly as a 520 but it only shows 21MB of ram, and graphics acceleration is disabled and is full of artifacts. As well the screen is zoomed out, presumably because of the 55 inch size. Help would be appreciated! Installing Lilu and Whatevergreen left me unable to boot but not sure if I installed correctly

  21. Hi! I'm a little new to this hackintosh thing (ive heard about it before but never really tried it out). Yesterday I decided to try out and install macOS on my PC, but before trying anything on the actual computer, i tried it on a virtual machine first. I downloaded Niresh's Hackintosh Mavericks (both the iso and the dmg) and it installed successfully on VirtualBox (including a Windows/MacOS dualboot), so i wanted to install it on the actual computer, and i followed all the instructions included with the download of Mavericks, here on Hackintosh Zone. Although I noticed that my BIOS doesnt have all the settings supposedly needed to boot into the USB drive after Restoring the dmg with Win32Imager, so it wont boot. I connected the USB into the Virtual Machine and it does detect it, although i cannot boot into the USB itself (from the actual computer). Can anyone help me? Specs: Computer: Acer Aspire ES1-533 Processor: Intel Pentium CPU N4200 @1.10GHz RAM: 6GB HDD: 1TB BIOS: InsydeH2O

  23. Hi to all. I have this laptop/notebook as you wish to call it: Acer V5-561G as in title: these are the specs: Cpu: intel i5-4200u (should be good) GPU: one integrated HD4400 and the other AMD R7-M265 if other info are needed tell me: that the problem: I prepare the USB with .dmg image of High Sierra Zone and then start it with F12 from the Bios that is UEFI or Legacy at choice. Then I start the hackintosh drive to install and it says: can't start window server sometimes like that and stuck at host-level exception pid= a number and says that for ever. Don't go further. What can I do? I should try install Sierra Zone instead? Or the AMD version of the newly released High Sierra? Thanks you
  24. Help me with Intel Hd Graphics 3000 Mobile on Mac Sierra Zone Hi, I'm trying to activate the Intel HD Graphics 3000 on my laptop with Sierra hackintosh but I can not in any way, I already tried with Clover Configurator, with Kexts, however the system does not even start ... It only starts if I put 0x01160000 in the FakeID, but when I do this the video card does not start. In "About This Mac" it says that I only have 4 MB of graphics memory. The bizarre thing is that I installed the Yosemite version and it worked perfectly ... Please someone help me !!
