  3. I'm using a AMD FX-6300 CPU, Asus M5A97 LE 2.0 MOBO and a MSI GTX 950 GPU. I installed the Yosemite-Zone.DMG on to my usb with TransMac and I only get so far as where I can type boot flags. I've tried all of the /amd kernal flags (ex. amd,amd64,amdfx), this is how i would type my boot flags (Boot: -v /amd npci=0x3000 nv_disable=1) and I've fooled with it for a little but couldn't get it to do anymore than reboot everytime. Would really love some information/help like do i need to try a newer version of macOS or is there a flag I'm missing. Maybe another way to install on the USB that would work? Any help is greatly appreciated, Thank you!

  5. So today I decided to try and make my main desktop a dual boot machine with OS X as the second OS; however I keep getting stuck during the install process. Hardware specs are: Asus Prime x370 pro motherboard Ryzen 7 1700 16 gb corsair ram running at 3000 mhgz Gigabyte Aorus 1080ti Side note: I am using the AMD version of the OS X installer and when I get into Clover the default Boot flags are: -v dart=0 darkwake=0 -disablegfxfirmware
  6. Hallo! I hope I chose the correct forum section. If not, I apologise, and yes please, move it to the correct place. Now to my problem. I have HP 8570p with i7-3540M Ivy Bridge, 8GB RAM@1600MHz, AMD 7650M 1GB, Apple SSD 128GB + WD Black 500GB HDD instead of DVD, 1600x900 screen. It seems that the intel HD4000 is completely disabled, I can't see it neither in Windows nor in Ubuntu nor in macOS. I successfully installed High Sierra and all is working fine except for the graphics. It shows only Basic display with 5MB. Here is what I achieved so far: 1. temporally installed Win 7 to grab my 1600x900 screen EDID raw data - this is what I got: 00FFFFFF FFFFFF00 06AFEE11 00000000 00120104 90221378 02E4E5A0 59579226 0D505400 00000101 01010101 01010101 01010101 01016432 40966284 3230402A A40058C1 10000018 98214096 62843230 402AA400 58C11000 00180000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000002 000C49F9 0A3C661B 2A396620 20200001 2. temporally installed Ubuntu 18.x.x to grab my GPU ROM file - successfully dumped 65kB vbios.rom 3. Get AMD FrameBufferUtility (AMDFBU) - inserted my vbios.rom - recognised my PCI ID 1002:6841 from vbios and in AMD6000Controller with 5 video outputs (LVDS, DP, DP, DP high res, VGA), suggested to use Pondweed FB, so I disabled one DP and the old VGA - generated ATI connectors data and ATI connectors patch >>>> put it all in Clover 4. Clover 4678 - inserted vbios.rom in ROM folder - selected Load VBIOS, Patch VBIOS, Inject ATI (RadeonDeInit not selected) - patched AMD6000Controller with AMDGPU-provided connectors data - selected InjectEDID and pasted the code above Later I also tried other FBs with LVDS support, tried to disable some video outputs as I don't need them all anyway, tried also AMD7000Controller with added 0x68411002 and some LVDS supporting FBs. Always same result. After restart, AMD 7650M is recognised but still with only 5 MB of VRAM. Any ideas? Please, help. Regards
  7. Hello, I installed macOS High Sierra 10.13 on my Windows laptop. I installed them so I could dual boot them. It took me 2 day's to perfectionize the macOS because of the .kext files. All the Kext files went good except for graphic and Synaptics. If I install Synaptics, I can move the mouse but it zooms in and it gets stuck back into the corners. So I only installed Generic Touch Pad driver and that works fine. Anyhow I thought everything was perfect until I opened Safari yesterday which came with glitches it stutters when scrolling. It's something like this https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=graphic+glitches+hackintosh only worse. I searched a lot but I found nothing on AMD drivers for my laptop. I really like this macOS, and I want it to be perfect. Is that possible? Maybe with another macOS type/version? O'yeah, when I log in, the vertical lines appear as in the youtube video is that normal or is that because I don't have an graphic driver installed? I really hope on some positive answers, and I thank everyone for his time to read and react on this. Thank you
  8. Hello, Currently I am working on an Hackintosh by using my current computer. My current compute has an AMD FX-6100 and AMD Radeon HD 7570 Drivers. However I am not able to comfortably do the installation because the 7570 is always in low resolution. I have installed Mountain Lion today but modifying kext's don't work. Is there any way to make AMD Radeon HD 7570 work with Niresh? I have 2 screens, both being 1920x1080p Thanks.

  10. AMD FX 6100 still waiting for rooting device problem I'm new in the community and I want to setup my first hackintosh. So I've been sitting around for 4 days now trying to install the Yosemite Zone on my PC. First, my specs: AMD FX 6100 Black Edition MSI 970 Gaming 2x Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 Second, the problem: I've made an USB Drive with Transmac and the YosemitZone.dmg file for an Installation. I also cleaned a HDD for the OSX and called it MacDrive formatted as NTFS and set my main board to AHCI. I turned USB Legacy off in the BIOS but now the USB Drive isn't recognized any more by my PC. So I will turn it back on. So before I turned it off, I tried to install it via USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 but as always I get the same error. Still waiting for rooting device. I used these boot flags with different combinations: \amdfx , \amd32 , -v , -x , npci=0x2000 , npci=0x3000, PCIRootUID=1 (but some people are writing in different forums that this doesn't matter), USBBusFix=Yes, USBLegacyOff=Yes, GraphicsEnabler=No, but when I type this combination \amdfx npci=0x3000 -v USBBusFix which seems to work, I always get the still waiting for rooting device problem. In any other case my pc just reboots. I tried to inform myself around the internet but the English in some forums is really bad, so I don't understand anything and I am barely a noob in this topic so is anyone around who could help me out of this? I would be really thankful and I have a lot of time due my schoolholidays. I need MacOSX for the AdobeCC and Work.

  14. Hi everyone, this is my first request of help in this forum, I have done a clean installation of High Sierra on my AMD build with the next specs: - A8-5600K - F2-A88XM-D3H - R7 240 OC I had been working with my completely done hackintosh over the past months but I can´t keep going with an issue that its very frustrating for me, this is that my internal clock gains over 3 seconds for every minute that goes in my iPhone, I had used the stopwatch on both my iPhone and my Hackintosh and seemed that my Hackintosh clock is faster, what this makes is that videos run faster than the audio, so after a few seconds its clear that video and audio doesn't match at all, this also happens with Spotify´s timeline... All of my other devices (GPU, audio, network) are working fine, what I did this time was to completely make a clean installation, my Hackintosh is now clean without the kext of the GPU, audio and network devices so I can work on fixing the clock issue, I tried the "time.apple.com" method and didn't worked at all... On Clover the only "fix" I made was to type in "clock speed (Mhz)" the value of "3,600" because in "About this Mac" I got 3.59 Ghz, so I supposed that would fix the problem... it didn't. I asked in a Facebook latinamerican forum of Hackintosh (I'm from Mexico) of the possible solutions for this issue and one guy pointed it might be something related to the kernel and one of the possible solutions was to change it... I did investigate about the available kernels of Hackintosh and realized that the one that was working specifically for my CPU is made for Mavericks, but because Kernel location changed in Yosemite I can´t use that one... (because the new one is a different file extension located in System/Kernels/) So the only kernel I was able to download and use was the "Shaneee 10.13" kernel which I changed for the original Kernel and kept the same damn issue in the clock speed... so even if 3 seconds of difference don't seem such a problem believe me that it has made my desperation rise and erased my HDD to try again a fresh install... Idk if its something related to the kernel or it might be some small change I have to make in Clover to make this thing work... even if there wouldn´t be any solution at least I would like to know if there's a program or tweak in OSX to make video slower or sound faster (just by milliseconds). Oh... I forgot to mention I also tried to solve the issue with the RTC patch and neither worked... I would really appreciate the support of one of you nice guys that I know your knowledge and help will be rewarded... Greetings!

  17. I tried to install Yosemite 10.10, the first release by Hackintosh Zone for AMD processors, and had no success as I was always stuck between the boot and login screen, the only way i would make it past was in safe mode which is almost useless. Has anyone had any success on an FX-8xxx Series CPU with the latest version of Yosemite-Zone (10.10.1). If so, what boot-flags do you use? My build: CPU: AMD FX-8320, 3.5ghz Ram: 10Gb DDR3 Graphics: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB MoBo: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+

  19. Hello all. I am curious about the AMD support in High Sierra Zone. In the log or ''features" list, it says there is AMD support but in beta. Does this mean AMD is supported in the current version, but it's buggy or something, or will it be released separately/in an update? If it isn't actually supported yet, what's the expected date AMD support will be released for High Sierra? If it is supported, what bot flag do I need in the clover EFI boot menu to get into the installer with an AMD processor (AMD Radeon HD 8000 series/R3)? Laptop specs: Processor: AMD E1-2500 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics 8000 series/R3 Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.44 GB Usable) System type: 64-bit Operating System (OS), x64-based processor SSE4.1 supported. Thank you!
  20. Hello, I`m very new to all hackintosh thing. At first I wanted to install Mac OS Sierra or High Sierra on my PC but I got X64 Exception Type error during install. So I tried Yosemite and it installed without any errors. I used this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXb3eg7Etek. My bootflags are nvda_drv=1, and npci=0x3000. My problem is that it runs slow. I installed the right nvidia driver package and it worked because my dock is transparent . I also switched OSX driver to nvidia web driver. Installed Mac OS on hdd instead of SSD maybe that it why it runs so slow. Some animations are also a little laggy but when you open downloads folder it is extremely laggy. I can install Mac OS on SSD but I don`t really want that because I have currently installed windows 10 on it and I really don`t want to do that unless I really know if it will work because I have important files there. I have GeForce GTX 960, amd 6300 fx, 12 gigs of ram and MSI 760GM-P23/FX (MS-7641) motherboard. Someone please help me and I can also provide more information if needed!

  22. I have successfully installed High Sierra Zone on my computer but cannot get software updates to hand off properly. 23. Hello, This is my first topic here, so I hope it follows all the rules. I'm using an AMD FX 6300 with the /amd1 kernel. Notice: This guide is now obsolete, although it can be still useful if you wanna replace a kernel by hand. Download the new Yosemite here: Hackintosh Yosemite A warning Before you proceed following this guide be warned that I am not responsible for any damages to you or your hackintosh installation. What you need A working hackintosh installation Yosemite 10.10.1 Update package Installation disk (see How to Install Yosemite on Your PC guide) The guide Copy your current kernel to "/Users/kernel". This can be done using the following command in Terminal (you have to enter your password when executing this command): sudo cp /System/Library/Kernels/kernel /Users/kernel Take note of your volume name (you can use Disk Utility for this). The name of my partition is "Yosemite" Download the Yosemite 10.10.1 Update package and open "OSXUpd10.10.1.pkg". Follow all the installation steps and finish the installation by pressing "Restart". Instead of booting from your hard drive, boot from the installation disk. Enter the correct startup options for your processor (for example /amd if you're using an AMD processor). After the setup started correctly, select your language and after that use "Utilities -> Terminal" to open the terminal. Copy the kernel you saved in /Users to your /System/Library/Kernels directory, you can use the following command for this: cp -f /Volumes/"Yosemite"/Users/kernel /Volumes/"Yosemite"/System/Library/Kernels/kernel Make sure to replace "Yosemite" with your volume name. After this run the following commands (still replacing "Yosemite" with your volume name): rm -rf /Volumes/"Yosemite"/System/Library/Caches kextcache -u /Volumes/"Yosemite" Restart your system, removing the installation disk. After you restarted, you have to follow a small wizard and after that, you installed Yosemite 10.10.1! Hopefully, this is useful for some of you, Mr. eXoDia.
