  1. How Do I Get iCloud Working in Yosemite Zone? Hello! I recently installed Yosemite Zone and iCloud, FaceTime, iMessage, and Google Chrome and none of them work, each saying my computer isn't validated. I have tried many things including the one with EFI Studio and deleting stuff to messing around in Chameleon and none of it seems to work. The App Store and it's sister apps work just fine, though. Does anyone know how to get all this working, as they are things I'd like to use. Specs: AMD Phenom II x4 B55 3.3 GHz 8 GB DDR3 NVidia GeForce GTX 750 MSI 890GXM-G65 Yosemite Zone 10.10.1
  2. Wifi problem on Yosemite I have install Niresh Yosemite 10.10.1 and canot get wifi, The system does not recognize USB adapter. I got two USB adapters: (D-link DWL-g122) and (tp-link TL-WN722N). D-link DWL-g122 worked on Niresh Lion 10.7.5 with "Ralink Wireless Utility". I copied that application from Lion to Yosemite applications, but it won't work. I attach that file (Ralink Wireless Utility). Does anyone know how to install Ralink Wireless Utility from Lion to Yosemite applications ? If anyone have any other solution, please let me know.

    Bug in graphics

Hello. First of all I want to say thanks to everyone here. You guys are AWSOME, Niresh in special. I spend the last week installing yosemite 10.10.1 in my computer, here are the speecs: -AMD antlon x4 640 @ 3.0Ghz. -Nvidia gtx 960 MSI. -Asrock motherboard. m3a770de ( Realtek RTL8111DL). http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/M3A770DE/ -DDR3 8 GB ram, Ripjaws. Here are the boot flags that I used for install: -/amd1 -v npci=0x2000 I had to use nv_disabler=1 the first time for boot the system in safe mode. I have problems with the graphics. It looks like it works great everything but some icons are bugged. I am using Nvidia Web Driver: 343.02.01f01(Up to date). Default driver was not working. The first thing that i tried to do was open Safari. Text pages are fine but when I open another with videos it does not work. Here is a pic of the error: I also tried with another web browsers like Chrome. When I open Chrome it looks like this : In this step i tried to use Firefox. In firefox youtube firefox works just fine but facebook is not working. The good news are that facebook works great on chrome. I dont understand this, for me makes no sense. I also found another graphical bugs like this ones in skype: Here are another visual problems too: While I was reading this post I saw that the imager were too big. I am using a 1080p monitor. It is configured in PAL and 1080p. I swap the config to a lower resolution and I found that the blue icons of the beggining were fixed. But some times it turns another time blue. The other graphical bugs still here. I also tested the graphics with CS GO. The game was not showing artifacts but it was not playable. It was in low getting masive frame drops. org.chameleon.Boot.plist I am also adding the boot.plist. I just remembered that I am having a bug in verbose mode: Thanks for everything and your time reading this. If you can help me and you need something please ask for it. Have a good day everyone ! org.chameleon.Boot.plist

  10. [Guide] Yosemite installation on a Late-2015 build Components of the Build Intel Core i5-4690K: ~$240.98 Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo: ~$34.88 Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3: ~$197.79 Crucial 1x8GB DDR3-1600: ~$49.89 Samsung 850 EVO 250GB: ~$99.99 Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200: ~$46.88 EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti SC: ~$124.99 Thermaltake Chaser A31 Thunder: ~$79.99 EVGA 500W 80+ PSU: ~$36.99 Total Cost: ~$912.38 Software Requirements Multibeast 7.5 for Yosemite Nvidia Web Drivers Preface If you do not own a Mac system, then you'll need to source TransMac. If you do own a Mac system, then you'll need to restore the Yosemite Zone DMG file to your flash drive using the Disk Utility app. If you do not own an 8+ GB flash drive, then you'll need to source one to restore Yosemite to. I would recommend at least a 16 GB flash drive that way you could restore future images of OS X such as El Capitan and Sierra. Do not forget to save a copy of Multibeast on the flash drive, otherwise you'll have to source Multibeast without a working ethernet connection. Step-By-Step Reboot the system and hold down the DELETE key to enter the BIOS. Once in the BIOS, you'll need to press the F7 button to restore any custom BIOS settings to their factory defaults and then press F2 to enter the class mode. When you're in classic mode, you will want to disable VT-d, set xHCI to auto mode, activate xHCI hand-off, activate EHCI hand-off, set SATA to AHCI, and set the memory mode to a more stable setting. (There should be 3 choices, choose the setting that has "stable" or "secure" in its name) Press F10 to save your changes and reboot the system. This time you want to hold down the F12 button to enter the boot device selection screen and choose your flash drive that has the Yosemite install image on it. Press TAB on the keyboard to enter boot flags and enter the following flags without the quotation marks: " -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No nv_disable=1 " Now you should sit back and hopefully you'll boot into the OS X installer and not into a kernel panic. (You'll be at a high risk of kernel panics throughout the installation process, so bear that in mind please) Now you will want to enter the Disk Utility app from the top menu of the OS X installer and erase the Samsung 850 EVO storage device. (You can not make an HFS+ partition alongside any Windows partitions on your SSD) Now you can exit the Disk Utility app by pressing WIN+Q (which equates to the COMMAND+Q on a macintosh keyboard) and you can select the SSD as your target installation drive. Do not customize the Yosemite setup, just click on the SSD as your target installation drive and continue to the most important step of the installation; getting the OS X files on to your SSD. Sit back and relax until the OS X installer prompts you to reboot, and then let it reboot. This time; if you don't have any other OS installation disks inserted into your computer, it should boot into the default Yosemite Zone bootloader. You want to enter the same boot flags as you did on step 4 of this guide. " -v -x GraphicsEnabler=No nv_disable=1 " Now you'll be finishing up the installation of OS X, you don't have to bother setting up with an Apple account since we'll be disabling auto-updates to ensure that any software upgrades won't brick your hackintosh installation. Once you're on the desktop you'll notice a few things: There is no transparency, the resolution is small, QE/CI isn't functioning, audio isn't functioning, and the ethernet isn't functioning. If that's the case, then good. Now you'll want to copy Multibeast from the Yosemite installer flash drive to the OS X desktop and run it. Select DSDT Free from the Quick Start area and then head on over to the Drivers area to select the following: Realtek ALC887 audio (the modern version should suffice), Realtek RTL8111 (version 2.X should suffice), SSD Trim support, and USB 3.0 support. Then you'll want to proceed to the Build tab to install those kexts. Once Yosemite Zone is finished setting things up (the notifications should tell you when it's finished), you'll want to reboot the system and this time you should see a different boot screen. Press the TAB button like before and begin typing in the following boot flags: " -v -f " Now you should have working sound, working ethernet, you should be able to plug in a USB 3.0 device into a USB 3.0 port without OS X freezing up, and you should have TRIM support for your SSD (which helps out heaps when dealing with file transfers). Now you'll want to head on over to Google to grab the Nvidia drivers for OS X and install them. Reboot when prompted and enter the same bootflags as you did in step 14 to get back into the OS X installation. Then you'll want to go into the System Preferences panel and select NVIDIA Driver Manager. Click on the lock icon in the bottom-left corner of the window if the settings are locked, and proceed to select the NVIDIA Web Driver option and reboot again. Use the same boot flags as you did in step 14 and you should notice that most of the graphical glitches are gone and that the screen resolution should now match the monitor's native resolution. You should also see QE/CI functioning and transparency should be enabled. Now to disable auto-updates from messing up your installation of Yosemite, you'll want to head over to the System Preferences panel and select the App Store option. Untick all of the boxes and you should be finished with your installation of OS X Yosemite. Screenshot of a Finished Installation https://cl.ly/442u1S223d2x

  14. Hi there, today I was managed to install Yosemite 10.10.5 on an old PC which I bought extremely cheap from a friend, these are : - Core 2 Duo E8400 @3GHz - Gigabyte GA P35-DS3R v1.0 - Samsung 4x1GB DDR2 PC6400 SDRAM - NVIDIA Geforce 9800GT 512MB ( unknown Chinese model ) - 500GB WD Green SATA - LG DVDRW - An ultra high end 10 years old 15" Samsung LCD with 1024x768 res at 75Hz... fully pure of joy :| things for installation : - I'm using transmac from my windows 10 to create Yosemite Zone 10.10.1 usb installer - BIOS setup was : AHCI enabled, USB as first boot device, virtualization off, HPET on @64bit, ACPI on - bootflags with -v at first installation after setup complete - Multibeast 7.41 for first installation - I use this custom DSDT = 1166-dsdt-gigabyte-ga-p35-ds3r-f13-rev1.aml - select Audio 1 - kext dev mode and PCIRoot checked -> reboot - upon restart write GraphicsEnable=Yes and PCIRootUID=1 but i think it wasn't mandatory - download OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 combo update from apple store and slam it - on reboot write flags -f -x first, it will be one helluva slower boot - use Multibeast 7.50 afterwards, same options as before with 7.41 -> reboot - don't forget these flags: GraphicsEnable=Yes and PCIRootUID=1 - download and install Nvidia WebDriver 346.02.03f01 and CUDA driver 6.5.51 reboot - choose NVIDIA as the default graphics, reboot - setting the Audio MIDI setup and sound over system preferences, mine came out a little bit low on volume, so i installed Boom to boost it up. as for now everything is working just fine as it should, no apps and hardware are having trouble at all.

  16. I cann't get a Kext to work my network card in Yosemite. Please help... Edit: Finally I got a kext that works with my wireless network card. I just had to add the key: <string>pci168c,0029</string> in the Info.plist file from package AirPortAtheros40.Kext. With Kext Utility install IO80211Family.kext file and restart the computer. Link: IO80211Family.kext
  17. Hackintosh can't boot: all kexts assertion failed Worked late on my Yosemite Zone Hackintosh build I've been using for a year now. I peacefully shut it down, and went to sleep. The next morning as I woke up, my Hackintosh didn't want to boot up so I booted in verbose mode (my bootloader is Chimera) to see what's going on. The system did a fsck at the beginning, returning "The volume appears to be OK", after which every single Apple kext prints out an "assertion failed" message which leaves my system hanging. My specs are as follows: ASUS H61M-K ( https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H61MK/specifications/ ) Intel Celeron G1620 ( https://ark.intel.com/products/71073/Intel-Celeron-Processor-G1620-2M-Cache-2_70-GHz ) AMD Radeon HD6570 ( http://www.amd.com/en-gb/products/graphics/desktop/6000/6570 ) 12GB of DDR3 RAM at 1333MHz 500GB HDD as only internal storage device, partition table (GPT) as follows: EFI Partition (200MB), OSX Partition (100GB), Recovery HD (650MB), Windows 10 Partition (80GB), MSR, Data Partition (250GB FAT32), Ubuntu 16.04 Partition (50 GB) Happens consistently on every reboot, so I can easily reproduce it. Things I've tried: -f flag kext-dev-mode=1 flag toggling GraphicsEnabler combinations of the three above trying to boot from GRUB (though probably fails because my OSX is installed in BIOS mode even though it's a GPT disk, while Windows and Ubuntu are running on UEFI mode) Deleting VoodooHDA.kext, as I've had minor troubles with it a while back None of these helped at all. I do have access to single-user mode though. I've also noticed a strange line of output during verbose, something along the lines of BSD root: major 0, minor 7. Assuming this means disk0s7, does this mean my OSX is trying to boot off the wrong partition (the Ubuntu one) instead, explaining why it fails on all kexts (because they aren't there)? My OSX partition is located at disk0s2. I feel like this has something to do with the issue. I'm just about ready to reinstall OSX entirely, I've already backed up all of my data and ready to wipe the partition if needed, though it would be nice to see if the problem is fixable on its own. Anyone got ideas?
  18. After Upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.5 no correct USB Sound Hello, After I have upgraded to 10.10.5, the sound from the USB sound card does not work properly anymore. The Kext AppleUSBAudio can not find the Kext IOAudioFamily at startup, although it is present and is loaded at startup. Under 10.10.1 everything worked without problem. MacOS should support compatible USB sound card plug and play. In some Kext is probably a mistake. I hope you all can help me. Best regards, Hello
  19. Upgrade to Sierra from Yosemite-Zone Hello there! I am new to hackintoshing, and I just installed Yosemite-Zone on my computer: Dell Inspiron 530 1.99 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 3 GB 664 MHz DDR2 SDRAM NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 1024 MB I was wondering how I could update to Sierra from my existing installation without loosing any data. I tried to use the App Store installer, but when I clicked restart, it stayed with a black screen and the mouse for a long time, until it restarted, but it didn't do anything. I also tried to boot into the drive labeled 'Recovery' but I got a crossed out circle. I was able to boot back into Yosemite, but no Sierra. Any ideas? Thanks! -Nathaniel

  21. Still waiting for root device ... again Hi, this is another question concerning "still waiting for root device". Like many others I feel like I read every tutorial or hint in every forum. I try to boot the yosemite installer from my pen drive, always getting stuck on "still waiting for root device". the pen drive: Kingston data traveler 8GB, created with TransMac, only used with usb 2 ports cpu: AMD Athlon II X2 250 3Ghz board: ASRock N68-VS3 FX chipset: Geforce 7025, southbridge: nforce 630a bios: AMI P1.8 I use the following boot flags: \amd64 -v npci=0x2000 pcirootuid=0 USBBusFix=Yes I get stuck here (Screenshot): https://cl.ly/0J2C1m2Y1l2A Thanks in advance

  23. HDMI audio not working i have just installed yosemite, and everything is fine but the audio does no work on my tv, i use cdmi connection, and the video works fine but no audio; any help?
  24. Black Screeen Boot, No error. Hi! I have tried running a vanilla macOS Sierra Install and it's a little too difficult with the hardware I have so I have decided to try Yosemite-Zone Mobo: Not sure, some Lenovo mobo that came with the PC 4GB RAM CPU: Intel Core i5 3470S @ 2.9Ghz Graphics: Intel Integrated HD 2500 (I know this is only slightly supported in Yosemite) So when booting from the USB in VirtualBox and from my BIOS, it either carries on to boot Windows or says No boot medium. I tried booting Yosemite-Zone.iso in VirtualBox and it didnt boot OSX Installer but I got to the bootloader. The ISO is too big too fit onto a DVD and I tried 'burning' it to USB using rufus but it is an "unsupported image" The reason I would like to use the ISO is because the DMG does not seem to work. Let me add that the USB I tried booting from had Yosemite-Zone.dmg on it from TransMac. Not really sure what else to do, I know this is a useful community so any help is appreciated. Nick
  25. Scrambled web video, Yosemite Zone Hi, Apologies if this has been asked and answered (fingers crossed huh!) but I've searched and can't find anything relating to just this. By and large, graphics work completely fine for me, I have full resolution and its generally clear except for a couple of things: on YouTube - or any other web-based video website, the video comes out scrambled with loads of black lines. Video playing on VLC, however, works completely fine. Also the TonyMac website is really difficult to read as I get random red and yellow bars that move around, and the first couple of lines of text on each forum post are really thick, so characters lose their shape. Finally, some previews in Finder have that strange coloration with bits of red and purple - but not all of them. I'm running a self-built PC with an AMD Athlon II X4 620 processor, Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P mobo, and an Asus Nvidia GT-710 graphics card (had the same problem on a GT-210 which I had in before). Booting with nvda_drv=1 GraphicsEnabler=No (doesn't boot when this is yes) npci=0x2000.
