  1. @Niresh I tried to install the latest version of AppleALC to see if it would fix the issue but its not working my audio tray icon is grey and theres no outputs in systempref/sounds. I've tried layout-id 3, 28, 30, 33 but theres still no sound with applealc can you help?
  2. @Niresh I see AppleALC in L/E I don't know if deleting it will help
  3. I've tried most of the things you just listed i have put voodoosettingsloader into login items and also tried deleting the voodoohda.kext that came with installation and downloading it from sourceforge but i still get the same problem. I even reinstalled and chose AppleHDADisabler but i still get this problem. For the scaled down hidpi graphics i didn't use a kext i followed this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/adding-using-hidpi-custom-resolutions.133254/ basically its creating a display plist file with the custom resolution in a folder with my displayvendor id. I haven't tried AppleALC how do i get it to work with my audio its a coxenant smart audio.
  4. @Niresh thanks for the reply heres my setup Lenovo ideapad 310-i5isk Intel Core i7 6500U @ 2.50GHz Skylake-U/Y 14nm Technology 20GB DDR4 RAM(16GB on macOS) 1TB Crucial SSD Intel HD Graphics 520\nVidia GeForce 920MX

    Display control help

You probably do not have backlight in the display activated. Follow this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-laptop-backlight-control-using-applebacklightfixup-kext.218222/
  6. Hi i'm running Mac OS Mojave 10.14.1 hackintosh and basically whenever i boot into mac os i always have to manually select the speaker as my own audio device so the sound will play through it can you help me make it the default audio device right from booting. I am using Voodoo HDA 2.9.0. I also created a custom HIDPI resolution because the native 1920x1080 resolution was too tiny right now i'm using a scaled down 1600x900 hidpi resolution. When i boot into mac os i always have to select it after i login with the RDM app because it doesn't show in systemspref/displays even when i click on scaled with the command button. I put the RDM app in the login items so it starts with mac os but it still does not use the hidpi resolution as default it changes to a non-hidpi 1600x900 resolution. Any help would be appreciated.

Download ACPIBatterymanager.kext and install it for battery status https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-acpi-battery-driver/downloads/. If that alone does not fix it you will have to patch your DSDT for working battery status you can google it. You haven't listed your wifi card description buts its likely that it is not compatible with macos, you may have to replace it with compatible hardware. Download brightness slider from the app store if you can't select brightness level but its likely that there is no backlight in the display. follow this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-laptop-backlight-control-using-applebacklightfixup-kext.218222/ Applications may be laggy because your graphics hasn't been accelerated yet but i don't know this . replacing your config with your intel graphics plist from these files may help https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config

    Mojave hackintosh battery status problem

Update: I was able to fix the battery status i chose lenovo ideapad y700 patch which matched my laptop and put it in the patches folder but first i had to disassemble the dsdt now i have working battery status. I'm so glad i didn't have to create my own DSDT because that would have been a chore now all i'm doing is waiting for this Broadcom wifi card to come so i can stop using this USB wifi stick thanks for all the support

    Mojave hackintosh battery status problem

Update: The only solution i have found for this problem is patching the DSDT but in clover theres more than one DSDT in CLOVER/ACPI/ORIGIN and theres no regular DSDT.aml file why is this? there's 'DSDT-or.aml', 'DSDT-pa0.aml' and 'DSDT-pa1.aml'. Is it just how this distro is built that there is no specific DSDT? It seems like battery status should work if the mojave installation uses the right DSDT from the get go. Creating my own DSDT might be too hard for me and even the pre-existing ones that match my laptop created by Rehabman he states that differences in memory and bios version can cause DSDT not to work. I have upgraded my memory to 20GB which may cause a problem using those but i haven't tried it yet. When i try to patch it with the existing ones using the latest version of Maciasl i get errors when compiling. Any help would be appreciated.
  12. Hi i'm having some problem getting battery status to work on my Lenovo ideapad 310-15isk. I installed ACPIBatteryManager and the battery icon shows in the finder bar but its always showing as low battery it only changes to a lightning bolt when the charger is plugged in but it never shows the amount of battery i have left. any help would be appreciated heres my specs: (im only using 16GB of ram on mojave) Intel Core i7 6600U @ 2.50GHz Skylake-U/Y 14nm Technology 20GB DDR4 RAM 1TB Crucial SSD Intel HD Graphics 520\nVidia GeForce 920MX
  13. Use this 530 config in your EFI folder https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config
  14. @Niresh I've done some research and apparently in order to get battery status to work i must patch the DSDT. I'm looking for DSDT patch for my laptop the laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 310-15ISK is there an already working DSDT patch for it because i cannot find one? I heard Lenovo Ideapad Y700 matches my laptop but i don't know where to start any help would be appreciated. Also i found a broadcom WiFi card that is supported and i ordered it in the meantime i am using a USB wifi stick so now the only problem i have is the battery status.
