  1. Hello all, I'm new to the forum and working with mac's. I am to install a fresh copy of Yosemite 10.10 on iMac model a1224. It had Yosemite 10.10 installed but I needed to do a factory reset since it was used. I created an apple id and set about performing a factory reset. I thought everything was going fine until it was time to install the OS from the internet. I kept getting the message that the product I was trying to download was temporarily unavailable. I tried for a few days to now avial then decided to attempt to find it on the internet. I found a youtube video using the hackintosh version so if followed instructions and created a bootable usb but I can't get it to work on this mac. The OS seems to install to '~6 minutes remaining and never goes farther. I tried again this morning and it got to the 6 minute point and gave the following error: OS X could not be installed on your computer. An error occurred while running scripts from the package "AppleTyMCEBackup.pkg". I would sure appreciate any suggestions of guidance you can offer. Thanks in advance for your help.
